●Chapter Thirty●

That night, the whole team stayed to practice. We held practice match after practice match against ourselves, as well as against Kuroo, Bokuto, Kenma, Lev, and Akaashi who snagged one of our guys every match. All of them are very talented and are good at switching what position they play, but so am I. 

We wanted to play until we could beat them in straight sets, but that would've taken till we start playing tomorrow if not longer. So instead, we just played until we won one set. Took four sets to be able to. After that, we headed back to the dorms. 

"So, how are you feeling after tonight?" Kuroo asked. 

"Better than last night, we ended tonight on a high note."

"That's good, but don't forget that not every single day is going to end on a high note." 

"I know." I rolled my eyes. 

"Gotta look for the positives every day. Even if it ends shitty, look for something that was good. You landed an attack, you got up, ya know. Even the small things are good." Bokuto came up on my other side. 

"I'll try." I said. I won't make any promises, because I know myself. But I can promise I'll at least try. 

"Good." Kuroo smiled. 

I showered and then went to our dorm. I plugged my phone in and then sat there against the wall and played some random game on my phone. Daichi came in after his shower and cuddled up to me. I knew something was up when his grip on me tightened a bit. 

"You okay, Love?"

"Yeah, I'll be fine. Just some intrusive thoughts. Nothing I haven't been able to handle though."

"I'm sorry baby, if you need anything let me know, okay?" 

"All I need right now is cuddles and some sleep. I'm kind of exhausted." 

"Lay down then, I'll hold you till you fall asleep." He just laid down, using me as a pillow. I ran my fingers through his hair, watching him fall asleep. 

Kuroo, Kenma, Bokuto, and Akaashi came in one right after the other. 

"Shh, he's almost asleep." I said. 

"He looks exhausted." Kuroo whispered. 

"He is." I said. After a little, he started lightly snoring, which meant he was out. 

"Didn't take long for him to knock out." Bokuto said. 

"He's exhausted, I don't blame him. He worked hard today." I said as I yawned. 

"Sounds like you should get some sleep too." Kuroo laughed. 

"I will in a bit." I smiled, looking down at the cutie I was holding. 

"You two really were made for each other." Kenma said. 

"You think?" I look over at him. 

"Definitely." He replied. I smiled and moved to lay down next to my boyfriend. I pulled him back into my arms and cuddled him as I fell back asleep.

When we woke up, I was still holding my babes. 

"Good morning." I whispered.

"Morning." He said as he sat up and stretched. 

"Ready for today's tournament?" I asked. 

"Yep! Now let go of me so I can get dressed." He laughed. 

"No. You stay here. Am cuddling." I snuggled in. 

"I love you, but I wanna kick some ass today."
