Chapter 24

"And that's the wrap! The last shot is enough already," the photographer announced, which made me sigh because of relief that I could go home already. I'm so tired, and I want to lay in my bed for the rest of the day. My schedule is only half-day, which I'm thankful for since I have been so exhausted these days. I was lacking and unfocused that resulted in me not being satisfied with every work I was doing... I'm just not on my track right now.

"Nice shot, Rigan," Kristy complimented, but my face distorted.

"It wasn't. I look dead when I checked the monitor," I contradicted and walked towards the dressing room to change already. I can't wait to go home and sleep. These days, sleeping is my excuse not to see Paris. I can't bear seeing or even looking at him after what happened. I'm so done with his crap.

"I thought complimenting will put you in a good mood. You seemed off these past few days. Is there something wrong?" She asked. I stopped changing clothes and viewed her in the mirror. She's checking what would be my reaction, but I need to pretend. I don't want everyone to know what I'm dealing with because it would be bad publicity.

I have been silent for days. I never even talk shit on the internet about the two having an affair because what matters to me is my privacy. I don't want the public to get intrigued by my life. If they find out what's happening, it will be chaos for me and the two.

I shifted my gaze away and continued changing. "Nothing's wrong.

When I was done changing, someone knocked on the door, and Kristy opened it. When she opened the door, my forehead puckered because of the noise outside. "What's going on outside?"

Bumuntong-hininga ako at tumayo.
