CHAPTER 20 DOOM

gulf: mew... thats enough (sniff)... did you get all of it?

mew: yeah... (click... lock of the phone) i nearly dozed off with all that monologue... aaaaargh... that silvers a bitch (crack) (stood up)

marcus: the hell!?

lhong: shit! im outta here marcus! (tried to get out of the cell)

mew: where do you think youre going? (red eyes block the doorway) GRRRRR! (locked the door) SULIS! (transformed to his wolf form)

marcus: how how can this be? im sure you drank the wolfsbane concoction that maid gave you and i stabbed you multiple times!

gulf: true that he did. but the mere fact that we are already bonded and marked makes him share my powers too. its very nice to meet you and thank you for nothing! merry meet! merry part elder marcus, elder lhong.

mew advances on them taking them by surprise. one by one, he ripped them limb by limb, flesh by flesh. the bloods effect on them to regenerate and revitalize could not keep up to mews gnawing and clawing.

gulf being bound could not help but to close his eyes to mews show of violence. the pain he had physically could not compare to the pain from the information he gained from these two traitors. elder marcus was his parents confidante and elder lhong was his parents first in command and very close friend. no matter how he try to comprehend why they betray them, it still turned out to be because of money, jealousy and greed. his foster father was nontheless like them. blinded by the money his foster mother left for his education, his foster father seemingly had forgotten all the love and affection they both shared for each other.

knowing that they both could not escape the fate of facing this scenario, they both agreed to capture evidence of their betrayal. evidence that could somehow enlighten  the members of the pack congregation that the elder marcus formed as an excuse to gain power over all the remaining packs.

they both knew that this is murder in cold blood and theyre putting justice in their hand but their judgment was long overdue to be passed on to someone uninvolved. after that incident with the book that gulf found, they carefully laid out their plan. mew being possessive and over protective that he was, strongly disagreed of making gulf as the bait. gulf made it clear to mew that he was the one they want and has every reason to be captured when he was left alone. devastated by what mew was about to decide, he wept that entire night and holding gulf close to him for dear life.

as mew crushed every bones, ripped every flesh and tore their limbs, gulf release himself from the chains that he was on. the slash on his wrist has long been healed with the help of lua. for now, both mew and gulf felt numb. it seems like they were in a trance due to their glassy glowing eyes with the need to weed out the traitors in this castle and punish those who have tasted his family blood.

with mew still in his wolf form and gulfs hand on his mane, they are the epitome of horror and terror. as if they are being controlled by someone, they purged the whole castle sparing no one. at gulfs reckoning whos to spare and whos to kill, mew is his enforcer. somehow in all that was happening to the both of them, they are conscious. they are aware. but the urge to kill those who have wronged gulf pushes them both to go on. the judgment was by and through the goddess. they are only the instrument to fulfill the prophecy. the prophecy that was not only meant to protect the blessed omega and the true alpha, but to bring about the justice the ruling family deserved. for the sacred blood was spilled and exploited, lives of those whose lips touched by their blood shall be the payment. cruel as it seems but its the child of the moon that they had crossed. apologies can no longer bring back those who passed on.
