"Let's see...Who wants to go first?" Luz says.

"Me!" Gus says.

"Okay Gus! Truth or dare?" Luz says.

"Dare!" Gus says.

"I dare you to do a lap around the owl house!" Luz says.

"watch me!!" Gus grins sprinting outside.

Everyone goes to the window to watch Gus run a lap, everyones laughing as they watch him.

'Hey hey hey'

You flinch and start looking around. Oh shoot the necklace.

'Hunter! I cant talk right now! I'm at a sleepover!'

'Awww but I miss you'

'Um.. me too but I wanna be with my friends right now'

'How was your dayyyy~?'

'It's been fineee'   You smile a little.

'Sooo~ what have you and your friends been doing?'

'We're playing truth or dare right now, Gus is taking a lap around the house it's really funny.' You smile.

'Ohhh..'

You sigh.

'Hey hey hey~ can I come see you?'

'Noooo!'

'I won't bother your friends I just wanna say Hi~'

'No Hunter! I'll see you tomorrow though okay?'

'Hmmmph... fine.. can I talk to you when your friends are asleep?'

'Well.. try getting me in a couple hours, depends if I'm awake or not.'

'Okay~ have fun Y/n~'

"Earth to Y/n? Hello???" Luz says.

"Oh! Sorry got lost in space." You say.

"It's your turn! truth or dare?" Luz asks.

"Oh, truth." You say.

"Hmmm~ is it true you like anybody?" Luz asks.

You blink.

"Like...? Uhm..." You think.

The first person that comes up on your mind is Hunter, but you shake your head and brush it off. Well.. you feel closer to him then most people, do you like him though?

"Um... well I'm not sure.. I still wanna get to know everyone.." you say softly.

"Cmonnn~ anyone you think looks cute?" Luz asks.

"Um..." you think.

"King is kinda cute!" You joke picking him up and rubbing his head.

"weeeehhh..." king whines.

"Pfft okay!" Luz giggles.

"My turn my turn!" Willow says.

"Amity!! Truth or dare?" Willow says.

"Oh, dare..!" Amity says.

"Mkay! I dare you to lay on Luz's lap." Willow grins.

"U-Um..!" Amity stutters.

"Cmere!" Luz grins plopping head head on her lap.

"Oh.. Um.. hi!" Amity stutters.

Truth or dare ends up going on for a while, eventually you all kinda get tired and everyone seems to have gone to bed, including you. You were completely sound asleep until you heard a voice come out of knowhere.

'Y/n~'

You flinch, and your eyes pop open, thats when you realize its Hunter, your necklace is glowing.

'Dangit Hunter, i was sleeping...'

'stay up with me y/n~'

You grumble and sit up, leaning gaint the wall.

'then what do you wanna do?'

'do you have good with azura 3 with you?'

'uh.. no but i can borrw my friends, she has some.'

You quietly grab the 3rd book off of Luz's bookshelf and flip the pages where you and Hunter last left off on.

'perfect~ id love to read it with you, you have a good voice for reading.'

You blush.

'you're weird Hunter.'

'Before you start, i just wanted to tell you, you're hired to be my personal guard! isnt that great!?'

'what? really?'

'mmhm~ you start tomorrow after your classes'

'speaking of classes, im getting my palisman tomorrow, im so excited, and i cant wait to show you.'

'.... i personally dont find palismen that safe, they're wild magic.. but i dont wanna argue with you.'

You sigh and roll your eyes.

'yknow maybe ill go to bed.'

'y/n!!! no!!'

You groan and slip off the necklace. You care for the guy, he's like your best friend but when it comes to artifical vs wild magic you just dont feel like talking to him.

Hunter POV:

Why does she always get mad at me whenever the topic of wild magic gets brought up...? its not fair, cant we just push past it and talk about whatever?

one day ill make her understand.

I glance at my calendar and notice a circled event, i sit up from my bed and walk over to it. Then my eyes widen. Its marked, first blood moon every 60 years, this is like a rare once in a lifetime thing. The calendar states its in about a month I stare at it for a moment, drifting off into space.

The first thing that crosses my mind is Y/n, then i shake it off and start blushing a little.

"Should... i take her?" I whisper to myself.

The more i think about it, the more relaxed my body feels, and i start to feel light and calm, picturing me hanging out with her at an event like that.

"Ugh, get a grip Hunter, i cant go i have missions to do." I groan, plopping onto my bed.

However, i cant stop picturing it, its a beautiful event, they have food stalls and games, its like a little festival to celebrate the beauty of the moons. Picturing walking around with her in those booths winning prizes, eating food and enjoying the scenery together just seems so... heartwarming.

The word 'date' crosses my mind.

"no, its not a date, i cant date, hahaha! i gotta focus on my missions!! no time for that~" I laugh.

I bury my face in my pillow and let out a deep sigh.

"Just... 2 friends hanging out~" I hum.

"AAGH! i cant 'hang out' what am i thinking, well... technically i already have with her... But on an event like this? is it too much?" i groan to myself.

"How would i even pull it of without getting into trouble..?" I grumble.

I suddenly grin, and sit up.

"Masks! we could make masks, hiding our identities, noo one will be able to recognize me!" I say.

"i wont wear my classic one of course, ill make some, for me and her." I grin, grabbing a notebook.

"Ill sketch it out~" I hum, sketching out the idea of the masks into my notebook.
