Chapter 127: First Revival(4)

Start from the beginning

"One..."

Fearfully, the soldiers all shivered and turned their heads to their frozen commander. They are all looking at him with desperate eyes.

"C-commander! We're requesting a retreat!"

"Sir, please!!!"

"Commander!"

The commander took a step back from the barrage of yells directed at him and looked at Luke, who appeared to be waiting for him to make a decision.

"No... w-we must not..."

"Is that a no I hear?"

Luke then fixed his gaze on the commander, maximizing the effectiveness of his new ability [Phoenix Aura].

The flame-like aura that surrounded Luke began to grow larger and brighter, to the point that it is almost blinding. All of the soldiers screamed and closed their eyes. They then all kneeled down in front of Luke, as though asking for mercy and pleading for their lives.

The people could only kneel and beg Luke to let them go since his aura, his presence, and his unexpected resurrection was all too much for them to handle. It's as though they're in the presence of a mighty and fiery entity... Almost like a God.

Snow, who was standing just alongside Luke, looked down at the crying troops and then up at Luke, who was staring at them with worry. Snow just sighed and shook her head while Luke is getting nervous at the soldiers' reactions.

'Did I go a little too far?'

Luke chose to reduce his aura and allow the soldiers to breathe. His new ability appears to be more powerful and effective than he anticipated. Luke simply groaned and turned to face the soldiers, who were choking and clutching their necks as though suffocated. Luke then continued to speak.

"I'll say it once more. Get out of here."

With weeping eyes, the troops glanced up at Luke and frantically stood up to flee, shouting in terror. They don't have time to wait for their damned commander's orders; they must leave now. What they're up against isn't human, and it's dangerous.

The Reece men simply stared at their opponents who were urgently fleeing the battlefield. They all ran so quickly that they were gone in less than 30 minutes. The war ended just like that, and with no major casualties or whatsoever, and the one who did all of it was...

"Haa, thank heavens, they're all gone."

Luke then turned off [Phoenix Aura] and began to descend to the ground. The troops who were watching him all realized what he was doing and began to move away from the area where they assumed he would land to give him space. They're all staring at Luke, their hearts racing and pupils dilating. Someone who had risen from the dead was in front of them. They were at a loss for words. They are grateful, though, that the fight ended without anyone being harmed as a result of his arrival.

Luke landed in the middle of the battlefield with Snow beside him, oblivious to their stares. He immediately deactivated his wings and turned around to see Spencer and Liam staring at him as if he were a ghost. Luke gave them a sneer.

"What type of welcome do you have here? I just returned, and all I get are stares? Are you kidding me?"

• Dad, they all appeared to be too stunned to move at the moment.

Luke scratched his head and sighed. True, his entrance was unexpected, so they were all taken aback and required time to recuperate.

Wiiinngggggggg!!!!

Luke flinched and turned around to see a teleportation circle forming behind him. Someone appears to be arriving. Luke merely stared at it, his eyes wide with anticipation.
