Chapter 15

Robert's POV

Picking up your work bag and getting out of the car, you were looking forward to jumping in the shower and then dinner with your girl, you turn the key in the lock and push the door open.

Greeted to red heart balloons as you walk through the door you push passed it with your arm 

"Babe" you call out to her but she doesn't respond, you see all the petals on the floor and follow them into the living room where there are a lot more balloons and photographs of the two of you "Babe where are you?"

You follow the petals back out of the room and start to walk up the stairs where the petals lead you a balloon on each step leading you to your bedroom door 

"Baby?" The petals finish and you push open the bedroom door it's all dark you push the switch for the light and that's when you see her.

A vision in a red dress, a dress so tight you can see her growing baby belly so perfectly, she stands there with a smile on her face embraced with dozens of balloons around her, you look at the bed and it's covered in petals and there's a box just sitting there

"Baby what is all this?"

"Your surprise"

"What surprise?"

"I Love You Robert Downey Jr and I want you for the rest of my life and I am so happy that you came here and loved me and gave me this" she holds her stomach "Our baby, we have the rest of out lives together right now" you smile at her "Your the most kind and caring and loving man I have ever laid eyes on and I have been hooked on you since the moment I first saw you when you told me not to kiss your ass"

"Baby I love you so much"

She leans over to grab the box off the bed and she moves towards you "I want this forever me and you me Rob"

"We are forever babe"

She gets down on one knee and your eyes widen with surprise 'what the' 

"Robert Downey Jr Will you marry me?"

she opens the box to reveal a ring and your shocked to the core your speechless "What?"

"Marry me?"

You smile at her, she's down on one knee in the most beautiful dress in the most beautiful decorated room and you can only smile at her.

You walk to you drawer and you pull out a box and walk back to her and get on your knee

"I'll say yes if you do"

you open the box to reveal a beautiful princess cut diamond Tiffany ring

"I've been waiting for the right moment to do this and you beat me to it"

she's crying now and so are you, the tears are sliding down your face as this beautiful woman is in front of you

"I love you Rob"

"My answer is yes Mercedes I will marry you"

"And my answer is yes as well of course I'll marry you and this beautiful ring" you place the ring on her finger and she places hers on you and you know in this moment that this woman is yours, your whole world is wrapped up in a single person

"I love you"

"I love you so so much you beautiful amazing girl"

"Always baby"

"Always"

You kiss her your Fiance and you couldn't be more happier than you are right now

"I booked us a table at the Savoy on the chance that you said yes to me"
