Ranboo hadn't answered anyone's calls in days. Without warning he'd just gone silent. But I called again.
"Sorry man, I was being a little too epic to answer your call. Call back never, loser." I mumbled in time to the voice mail. I'd heard it so many times the past few days I knew it off by heart. I tried to recall our last conversation. Nothing stood out as out of the ordinary. I felt a stab of worry in my heart. Nobody else was worried. They just assumed that maybe he forgot to tell us he'd be somewhere. I sighed. They were probably right. He would've told us if anything was wrong.
"Yeah that's it. He just forgot." I felt a bit of relief. He was fine.
He had to be.
Surely.
