"Thanks! My mom taught me how to bake these, I'm pretty good." You say.

"You should make them more often, that's a good talent." He says.

"Maybe." You grin.

"I actually have a mission I need to go to, would you like to accompany me?" Hunter asks.

"Depends on the mission, what is it?" You ask.

"Well~ its more like a personal mission for myself, I'm studying Belos's curse, I have an idea for a potion that could heal him." He grins.

"Um... as long as it doesn't have to do with you having to kill anything." You say.

Hunter sighs and puts down his mask.

"I will end up having to kill something, but you don't have to look Y/n." He says.

"Why? Is it really necessary to kill something for it?" You say.

"Well I kinda have to! Besides their wild, wild magic is dangerous, and in order to help Belos I need to exterminate them." Hunter frowns.

"But... have you seen what the palismen are like? They're so kind, in fact.. I'm getting one soon." You smile a little.

Hunter groans and puts his hood up.

"I don't wanna argue with you, I don't want to become your enemy Y/n, I already told you." He sighs.

"I've gotten fond of you, I'd hate to loose you." He says softly.

You roll your eyes and then nod.

"So do ya wanna come or not? We can just forget this conversation happened." Hunter says, patting his staff for you to sit down.

You frown and decide to accompany him, sitting in the back of the staff holding onto his waist. With that he zooms off.

After a while it seems the 2 of you are in Latissa, the city where the emperors coven lies, so you're pretty familiar with it.

Hunter helps you get off the staff and the 2 of you begin walking around the stalls of Latissa, he buys certain materials he may need for his elixir. It's not a lot of materials because later on the 2 of you end up heading to the forest, where more materials may be.

The 2 of you didn't talk that much, it seemed he was kinda upset from earlier. That's when he suddenly stops walking and turns to look at you.

"Y/n." He says.

You blink.

"This forest is filled with wild magic so it can be dangerous, if you could please take my hand so I can make sure you're safe." He says flatly.

"Um.. yeah." You stutter a bit.

"Mmhm." He says, reaching out for your hand.

"Make sure not to let go." He says.

He firmly grabs it suddenly pulling your forward right next to him. It kinda startled you making you yip a bit, you can hear him kinda laugh underneath his mask.
