Tartarus POV

So the Olympian had caught on it seemed. I couldn't help but chuckle a bit, honestly because it took him so long to see it.

"You get it now don't you," I said, amusement laced in my voice watching the Underworld brat grow more confused by the second. "Your son is like your nephew now. He's ascended far past Olympus and the need for a throne there." I paused. "Actually his throne should be gone now if the magic of the world noticed this change. Which I'm sure it did because, well, I did."

The kid looked more and more confused as I attempted to explain things as simple as possible. "Nephew," he questioned, eyebrow arched in mild confusion. "Only direct nephews my dad has are Jason and Pe-." His eyes widened to the point of almost bursting out of their sockets.

I laughed loudly, the Olympians and their children were some of the best entertainment I'd experienced in years. "I see you understand young Proto-Primordial." I bowed my head a bit, albeit a bit sarcastically. "It's an honor to be in your presence as someone who wanted to be a Chosen." It was genuine. I had always wanted to wield the power of my, technical, aunts and uncles. They were beings of power even I knew I was nothing to. All of that power was alluring...which is probably why I would've never been chosen.

Hades seemed to grow smaller in his throne. It made sense, compared to him I was high on the Greek scale of power, toward the top of the food chain. Nico was now higher on that chain than I am. Hades was an infant in terms of power compared to who he was sharing the room with.

I suppose I could save him. "Nico, is it," I asked hastily. "Perhaps we should get going, there's still a matter of the other guy." Hades seemed to be brought back to reality. "Yes," he coughed. "I'm afraid Zeus is calling a council meeting right now. So I will take my leave." He got up and grabbed his Helm. "Oh and I will be sure to inform the council of these new changes." With that a shadow seemed to surround him as he disappeared and took all traces of light with him. I glanced at the new being, I snapped my fingers and opened a portal.

"After you Tartarus," he said with narrowed eyes. I smirked and with a bit of pride said, "caution is good, always be on your guard. You'll need it for where you're going."

With that being said I walked through the portal with Nico following swiftly behind me to one of my favorite worlds. Planet Hell.

Nico POV (Third Person)

"Let me get this straight," Nico started, staring at Tartarus cautiously who seemed extremely unbothered. "You think I'm a- what was it again?" He paused to let Tartarus speak.

"A proto-primordial kid, we've been going through here for like 15 minutes, you'd think it would have clicked by now," Tartarus seemed to joke which seemed highly uncharacteristic from the myths and legends about him. "The same thing as your cousin......ahhh Perseus if I'm not mistaken."

Nico had been in deep thought before his head snapped up and he began to look at Tartarus suspiciously, "how do you know that?" Nico had his hand around the hilt of his sword, ready to defend himself.

Tartarus chuckled and scratched the helmet that seemed fused to his head, nervously Nico noticed smirking. The thought of making the Protogenoi tremble brought a sense of wonder to the demigod. Proto-Primordial. Whatever.

Nico thought of his boyfriend Will. What would he think of all this. I wonder if I could- "I'm a Primordial Nico. I'm in tune with almost every energy in the known multiverse." That made sense, Nico thought. Will would never believe where he was and who he was with.

Nico sized the Primordial up a bit before voicing his main concern at the moment, "will I be able to see my loved ones again?" Tartarus looked towards him in what seemed like wonder. "Of course you can," he said obviously amused, "You could even bring them with you to live in the Void."

Nico smiled contently at that, more than happy with the answer.

"Ah, we approach," the being said. In the distance was a speck of a different color of lights, standing out from the deep black and crimson red of the portal.

As we approached the other end of the portal my eyes widened. The stench of blood and the dead was potent, bodies were skewered all over the place some missing body parts, others with their entrails leaking all over the place. Then Nico shivered, there was an unnatural feeling in the air. "What is this place," he asked looking towards Tartarus who was chuckling at his reaction.

The Primordial of Hell raised his arms as though this was a great achievement of his, and from the almost proud look on his face, this was. "This is Planet Hell," he paused as if to build tension, and it worked, "and this is Wallachia."

The area looked old styled, as if they had been dropped in the dark ages. In the distance were the remains of a city, long burnt down and nothing more than what was. Nico, being a son of Hades, could see the souls stuck on the mortal plane, crying out for someone to save them that never would.

Nico looked puzzled. This was an alien planet but he could breathe seemingly fine. Tartarus noticed his confused expression and began to explain, "There are several different versions of earth through the multiverse and even our own universe. Our universe is designated Universe Prime, as it is where Khaos orchestrated the creation of the rest of the multiverse. This planet is still in Prime, but is in a different galaxy than the Milky Way."

He paused with a frown, "I'm not entirely sure exactly how many planets have life outside of the ones I have jurisdiction over. It certainly numbers in the millions based on my siblings and their interests." Tartarus began walking towards the forest, away from the city in the distance.

Nico began following him after unconsciously releasing the souls of several children. "Who would go this far," Nico whispered, an anger unlike anything he had felt welling up inside him at the thought of so many children dying.

Tartarus, a few steps ahead, recoiled away as he felt Nico's power suddenly spike at the raw emotion. "Well, there is this vampire, Vlad Dracula," Tartarus began. He went on to explain how some of the humans of this planet killed the legendary vampire's wife in cold blood, and upon learning this sought vengeance against the entirety of the human race. He was almost successful but was stopped by his own son, a mage, and the last son of an old family known for dealing with creatures of the dark.

Nico couldn't believe what he was hearing, there was a Vlad Dracula on earth but he wasn't a vampire, he was actually his half brother and had been nicknamed Vlad the Impaler. Nico had even met and talked to his ghost...he was a very strange person.

Tartarus walked to the edge of the forest and stopped, gazing up. Nico followed his gaze to a castle of immense stature, eerily reminding him of his father's own castle in the Underworld. Tartarus grew a rather grim expression on his face, "Son of Hades I advise you get behind me while I make our introduction. Even though he is technically a hero, I'm not sure how he would take solace to the fact that his planet is one of many and he's being called to war."

Nico bore the same expression as Tartarus before unsheathing his sword, made from Stygian Iron and cooled in the rivers of the Underworld. "Are you sure it's not safer for me to approach first," Nico questioned the older being. "We're not exactly sure what my...kind is capable of yet."

Tartarus chuckled darkly, "no YOU'RE not sure, I've seen the First Race in all their glory, I know what I'm dealing with." Tartarus motioned for Nico to put his weapon away before continuing, "plus none of you bar Kenos knows how to really use the power right now, so I'm at less risk than you at the moment."

Nico nodded before sheathing his sword and standing slightly behind the Primordial to the right. They began the ascent up the stairs, cautiously bringing in their surroundings. "So who are we here to see anyway, I'd rather know what to expect than go in blind," Nico stated, surprisingly showing more intelligence than he let on, just as they reached the giant doors of the castle.

Tartarus grinned evilly before knocking thrice on the door, "why one of the beings we were just discussing, the last son of the Belmonts."
