Chapter 126: First Revival(3)

"I'll count to three, and if you don't get up, I'll kill you right there on the ground. One..."

The commander became agitated and attempted to stand up as quickly as he could. Liam regarded this with amusement as if he were simply watching a toy move around aimlessly.

"Two..."

"Urgh..."

The commander rose to his feet and turned to face Liam, who was smirking at him. He felt like a toy in this guy's hands.

"Let's finish you now that you've fully stood up."

"Wait a minute-"

"Too late."

Liam was about to charge and strike his sword at the commander, who was trembling in dread, but stopped when he sensed a tremendous, familiar presence approaching them. Liam frowned in disbelief as he glanced off into the horizon.

"No way... That person still alive?"

With an uneasy expression on his face, Liam peered into the distance, where Reece kingdom was located. The commander, who was trembling severely, just looked at him with a puzzled expression, but Liam ignored him and continued looking. Liam then locked his gaze when he saw a brilliant orange light approaching them quickly after a while of peering into the distance. As a result of his surprise, he speaks out loud, causing the close soldiers, Spencer, and the commander to hear him.

"Holy shit, he's still alive..."

Spencer looked at Liam, who was staring off into the distance, perplexed. He was confused when Liam stopped the attack on the commander earlier, and he tried to question him, but all he got was Liam mumbling nonsense.

"Alive? Who the hell are you referring to?"

Spencer widened his eyes as he saw a bright orange light approaching them like a canon from where Liam's eyes were fixed on. Spencer narrowed his eyes and adjusted his spectacles to get a better view of what was approaching them, and then froze when he understood what it was, no, more like... Who.

Spencer froze in position, his gaze fixed on the approaching orange glow. His heart was racing and his eyes were trembling. He felt as if his heart was about to stop beating at any moment. This... This is simply too unbelievable to be true.

"Luke..."

When they heard that name, all of the soldiers in the area came to a standstill. They then turned to look at Spencer and Liam, who was staring into the distance with perplexed expressions. The soldiers then chose to also look in the direction they were looking due to their curiosity. Finally, all of the soldiers, whether ally or enemy, did the same thing and stared at the distant orange light that was coming closer.

When the light got close enough, all of the troops dropped their weapons unconsciously and their entire bodies shook while staring at the orange light. They finally recognized who was approaching them at last. And his appearance was very unreal and impossible. He shouldn't be here.

Finally, the light stopped and now floats in the middle of the battlefield. The soldiers' jaws dropped and their hearts stopped beating as they saw who was inside that blazing orange-red glow.

It was the silver-haired kid who had just gained notoriety for her unusual power and previous connection with Dark Eye, Snow.

And...

Their beloved silver-haired commander, wearing a beautiful and dashing black commander suit while his glowing purple eyes look down upon them like a God. His long silver hair fluttered like fire in response to the orange-red light's movements, and his slender and pale body was held in a straight posture, his enormous white wings flapping behind his back to keep him afloat.

Luke has returned.
