"Keep her alive,"
I told the men
Dressed in clinical green
"Keep her alive,"
I chanted a litany
Warm palms gripped with a clammy sheen,
"Keep her alive,"
I wished,
Staring at the occupied bed,
"Keep her alive,"
I whispered brokenly,
Looking at the soulless wide eyes;
Her lips curved in a last smile.

ΠοίησηThe poems reflect evergreen and intense emotions while others are as light and weightless as feathers. It's like the heart whispers softly, waiting to be heard. ~Vote and Comment~ © tanxsha [Previously warped_realities]
