Caught your eyes
Amidst the crowded hall
As we walked on,
Past our forgotten paramours.
Face to chest; and chin to head,
A brush of an arm; a touch of a hand
Brings times bygone to the front:
Twined arms and loving whispers
Dissipated in the stale air.
Once arderous lovers,
no-more can stand the other's breath
Walk past each other
Like they couldn't even care.

When The Heart Whispers
PoetryThe poems reflect evergreen and intense emotions while others are as light and weightless as feathers. It's like the heart whispers softly, waiting to be heard. ~Vote and Comment~ © tanxsha [Previously warped_realities]
