"Hey, we came by to make sure you were up." Daichi said. Of course they did.
"Oh, heh, yeah, I'm up and ready. Why don't we get going?" I suggested as I started walking.
"Sounds like your allergies cleared up too overnight, that's good."
"Huh?" I turned to face him, half confused about what he'd said and half surprised he remembered what excuse I'd made.
"Your allergies, they sound like they cleared up." He repeated.
"Oh, yeah. They did, I guess a little sleep did the trick!" I turned back around with a forced giggle.
When we got to the volleyball gym, we saw Kageyama and Hinata standing outside waiting already. Of course they were, those two are ways early because they try to beat each other here.
"Hey guys!" Hinata shouted.
"Hey, you're here early." I gave a small laugh.
"As always! You excited for the camp?" He asked.
"Definitely." I lied. I was scared my cuts would reopen, and I felt awful at the moment, especially standing next to the freshmen that took my starting position. I can't lie though, the kids got talent. I knew he'd take it if he came here when we scouted his and Hinata's game last season.
"Calm down, jeeze, it's too early for this shit." Kageyama rolled his eyes. Daichi unlocked the door and we all went in to wait for the rest of the gang.
Us third years sat against the wall looking at play sheets and lineups, Kageyama and Hinata got a ball out to practice hits to each other. At least they're not fighting.
"Suga, you remember what we talked about last night?" Daichi asked.
"Yeah."
"Alright, so, our usual starting lineup is Kageyama, Hinata, Tanaka, Noya, me, and Asahi. Tsukishima is also technically a starter. Instead of having Kageyama and Hinata in, you and Tsukki can start in our first round. You good with that?"
"Yeah, that's fine." I said. Though honestly, they'd do much better keeping Kageyama and Hinata in. Not that their move is perfected just yet, but that quick of theirs will be our best weapon.
"Alright, we got this. This will be a great opportunity for us. I know we lost at the two day thing at Nekoma, but they'll be at this too, so we'll have a chance for a remach." I understand why he's so hellbent on winning. It's our senior year but God, it takes a lot of mental power some days, and I don't always have it.

Soon enough, everyone on the team was here, including Coach and Takeda, who oddly were the last to arrive. Daichi and I did attendance and got everyone loaded onto the bus. Me and him were seat buddies, sitting all the way in the back so we could supervise. Knowing some of our team is a bit rambunctious, we need to be able to see everything.
"Alright boys, We're on our way to the Saitama prefecture! Today when we get there, we'll be setting up our sleeping area and then heading to the courts until dinner. Understood?"
"Yes coach!" Everyone yelled.
"Good, get settled into your seats, we'll be heading out shortly here." He said before sitting down himself.
"Sorry if I fall asleep." I turned to Daichi.
"Don't apologize, if you need a nap go for it." He said. He gave a tap to my thigh. I winced, not expecting it and having no time to prepare.
"Are you okay?" He asked, quickly moving his hand away.
"Y-yeah….Thighs just hurt...ya know, flying leaps on friday…" I made up a bullshit excuse.
"Okay, you need meds? I have some in my bag?"
"I already took some this morning." I lied again. He nodded and turned to look forward again. I put in my earbuds and tried to fall asleep.

I was woken up by Daichi when we made a stop at a gas station.
"Hey, let's head in and grab something to eat." He suggested. I just shrugged. I honestly don't feel like I deserve food, for the same reasons I cut.
"You need to eat, come on." He held his hand out for me to take. I took the help getting up and went in with him so he wouldn't worry.
"What should we get?" I asked.
"Onigiri is easy to eat on a bus." He suggested. I went with it and grabbed one. We paid and then went to sit outside and start eating. We walk out to find Hinata and Kageyama arguing about something.
"Boys, what's the issue?" I interjected.
"He's being annoying, do I really need to be his seat partner." Kageyama complained. The two of them really never have gotten along, at this point I'm not sure they will unless they're on a court.
"Calm down, it can't be that bad." I said.
"Oh it can, you sit with him."
"I need to be in the back." I said. Kageyama just rolled his eyes. While we were talking, Hinata took the opportunity to rush off into the store to get away. Good, maybe we'll get a few minutes of peace.
I went and sat over next to Daichi, who was already halfway through his food. I sat there and stared at mine. I wasn't hungry, I didn't wanna eat.
"Eat, Suga." Daichi noticed me just staring at my food. I did as he asked so he wouldn't worry. Don't get me wrong, it was good and I did need it but...I didn't want it nor deserve it.
Before we all got back on the bus, I decided to use the restroom really fast. I got a stupid idea in my head…I went over to the toilet, stuck my fingers in my throat, and forced myself to throw up. If I had to eat, this was what I was gonna do. Maybe this'll be my replacement for cutting, but we'll see.
After I flushed and washed my hands and face, I went back outside to find everyone on the bus. As soon as I was in my seat, we took off again
