Chapter 40 - Voight finds out

It's the next morning and Mallory has just woken up, she looked at the clock and it read 08:40. She had 20 minuets to be at work. Mallory got out of bed and headed towards the shower. Her phone then starts to buzz
"Hello?" Mallory says as she places her phone on the table
"Mal? Where are you?" Antonio yells
"I'm in my kitchen? Why?" Mallory replies
"I'm outside! I'm driving you remember?!" Antonio adds
"Uh yeah! Totally I'll be down in a sec!" Mallory adds before hanging up the phone
Mallory frantically tries to find her things and gathers them up. Antonio then drives her to the district and they walk in
"Davis get your ass in here!" Voight yells
"Shit" Mallory mutters
"What have you done this time?" Antonio asks as Mallory walks in
"Does the name Daisy McMillan ring a bell to you?" Voight asks
Mallory doesn't reply
"I said DOES THE NAME DAISY MCMILLAN RING A BELL TO YOU!" Voight yells as he slaps his hand against the table
"Yes!" Mallory yells
"Then why did you sleep with her?! Because you wanted some dope?!" Voight yells
"No! I was struggling and she was there okay!" Mallory shouts
"You could get stripped of your rank if HQ find out about this! And then it'll look bad on my department!" Voight yells
"There's the Voight we all know and love! The one that only cares about himself! 2 weeks ago I was at a point in my life when I was going to end it all! But I held on! And yet you had no clue!" Mallory yells as she gets to her feet
Voight just looks at her
"And no! I didn't get high! Test me all you want!" Mallory yells before walking out
"Did you just school Hank Voight?" Adam asks with his mouth wide open
"I did what I needed to do, now I need to roll out somewhere. Upton? Care to join?" Mallory asks as her eyes shoot over to Hailey
"Uh yeah sure" Upton adds as she walks out with her
They get in the car and Upton turns to Mallory
"Where are we going?" Upton asks
"I need to do something" Mallory adds as she drives out
An hour later they arrive at a house
"It's a house?" Upton says as she gets out the car
"Yes but it's an important house!" Mallory adds as she turns her body camera off
They walk up to the door and Mallory knocks it. Daisy then opens the door
"One night stand!" Daisy says
Mallory then out of no where punches her
"What the hell?" Daisy yells as she holds her bleeding nose
"And plus I didn't sleep with you because your attractive, I slept with you because you were the first person I saw" Mallory yells before walking away
