He clears his throat and my eyes snap back to his. He has a smug look on face as he knows I was checking him out. Bastard.

"You're awake. I was wondering why children from all around the world started screaming." He nods his head.

I roll my eyes at him and throw a pillow at his head. He retaliates by throwing it back at my head before running off to the closet. Bastard.

I mosey on over to the shower and get myself ready and dressed for the day. I didn't know what we were going to do today but I decided to dress comfy anyway. I threw on a pair of Vincent's sweats and shirt since it was the first thing I saw lying around.

Our closet looked dumb. One side had life and some colour while the other was just different shades of black and pretty much lifeless. He had one whole section for just black shirts that looked the exact same. The only other colour he had was grey. The darkest grey to ever exist.

I make my way downstairs as I walk through the quiet halls. Nobody was awake yet. I wouldn't blame them. It was only 8:30AM and I heard them talking until at least 4 in the morning last night.

Vincent was making some drink as he took bits from his apple. I made myself a bagel for breakfast as I drank lemon juice. The bastard was oddly quiet. He usually throws insults at me early in the morning.

"There's a meeting at 9. Go wake up the dumbasses." He says as he looks at my outfit, "You also need to change."

"Okay." I nod in agreement.

I take a breath in and let out an ear piercing scream. It catches Vincent off guard and he drops the glass in his hand, causing it to  shatter at our feet. He slowly looks up from the pieces and glares at me to which I respond with a grin.

Footsteps start running down and soon enough all 4 of them are awake and in the kitchen. I turn around to see their terrified faces. They look around the place and at us to see what's wrong.

"Meeting at 9."

"God woman, that's why you screamed?" Lucas groans, running a hand down his face.

"Mhm." I hum as I nod.

"Get dressed. Now." Vincent grumbles and they all scowl at us before walking off anyway.

I slowly turn around to be greeted by Vincent's glare once again. I'm starting to think that's just his face at this point.

"You told me to wake them." I shrug, walking over the glass.

I go back to my room and Vincent follows behind, muting curses at me the whole way. I changed into a medium length black silky dress. As I do my makeup, I can see Vincent in the reflection, staring at me.

He leans against the wall as he watches me putting on my lipstick. I pretend I don't notice him whilst I finish my look. He still stares intensely and it makes me overwhelmed. I turn around to face him with my hands on my hips,

"What?" I ask.

He stays silent for a moment before he runs his tongue along the inside of his mouth and lets out a light chuckle, "Nothing." He shakes his head. He shoves his hands into his pockets and looks at me up and down one last time before strolling out the room.

"We found the number plate and who it belonged to." Vincent announces to the room full of our men and women.

"That wasn't much help considering it was a stolen car and under a fake name but we found the route they came from." Theo says, showing us the footage of a bunch of cars.

"Vince and I will follow that route with Kena and Lucas. Theo and Sienna will tell us directions and find out whatever they can from home." I say.

"Ori will call if we need backup. If she calls, I expect you to be there in less than 5 minutes." Vincent said.
