I dug my finger into his bullet wound and he screamed against the gag. I winced as his body jerked. "I know. It hurts right? This is what's going to happen if I don't get answers."

I twisted and curled my finger in the wound, the uncomfortably warm interior encompassing me. My hand was covered in blood and the man continued to scream until I pulled my finger out. Sweat beaded his forehead and he breathed heavily through the gag. I reached forward and pulled it off him.

"Now, why are you here?" I asked and brought my other hand up, covering his fingers with mine. "Tell me or I move to the fingers next."

The guy threw his head back, his face red and veins prominent. He was breathing deeply and I knew he felt a lot. "You seem new to this and let me just say, it doesn't get better from here. It really doesn't. You look young. You can't die now right? You probably have a family, a boyfriend or girlfriend, siblings, some people that need you. Don't make this hard on both of us."

My voice was laced with sympathy as I gazed at the man who continued to glare at me. "Not talking? Ok I'll just..." I went to put the gag back on.

"Wait!" He said in a loud voice. I dropped my hands and leaned back on my heels.

"Yes..."

"I'll tell you what you need to know," he said and I motioned for him to go on. "Go to hell you black bitch!" he snapped and I rolled my eyes.

"That's the thing love. I know I'm going to hell and yes I'm black. People should really stop stating the obvious," I said shaking my head in disappointment. "I'm going to kill you now because you are absolutely useless ok?"

I smiled as I reached forward and put the belt between his teeth again. I sighed and slapped his knee, causing him to jerk and scream in pain. "Well you stupid sod. It's been fun but... ya know."

I lifted my gun and shot him in the stomach causing him to scream and tears to pour down his now red face.

"Don't worry. I didn't hit anything major. You'll bleed out to death if not attended to in the next few hours or so. Just know I'm going to kill all your little buddies so no one's going to help you," I told the guy standing up. "You could've just given me the answers I wanted but no matter. I have the walkie talkie. I'll just follow what they say."

I snorted because as soon as the device was in my hand, I didn't need to torture him but that was more fun. I saw him place his bound hands tightly on his new bullet wound. Good luck with that champ.

I rolled my eyes and picked up another gun that was on the floor, tucking it in my pants and picking out the walkie talkie. I turned it on and listened to the conversations as I moved to one of the snipers.

"Roof squad five what is your status?" The voice from before asked.

"The north wing of the mansion is clear sir. No sign of our Black Beauty." someone responded.

I screwed my face. Black Beauty really? That was a bad code name. I literally looked nothing like that damned horse. At least the people who ruined my life gave me the name Jade Scythe which honestly wasn't that bad.

I pointed the sniper to the north side of the mansion, searching for my beloved snipers. I hummed a soft tune as I located the first team, letting my shots fly through the air. I only gave headshots and the people were dead before their bodies even begun to flop to the side.

"Roof squad one. How is the centre looking?"

"It's clear sir. Not any sign of movement."

I turned my gun to the watchtower at the gate. It was the only place where you could see the centre of the estate. Don't ask how I know that. I found the two idiots quickly and down they went. I waited for the next order to be given.

"Sir, four dead men found in the main house."

Oh fuck.

"Anything else?"

"Looks like our Black Beauty is here sir. She's in the estate."

"Copy. All inside units, do a full sweep."

I got up from the sniper with a grumble. Are these people even serious? I checked my guns, making sure they were both fully loaded before I walked towards the door and down the stairs. I couldn't let them find Faye.

I walked down the hall, both guns in hand and at the ready. I paused when I heard soft footsteps coming towards me and pressed my back against the wall as I peered over the edge. Six armed men moved in teams of three, checking each and every room, drawing closer to where I stood.

I pulled my head back and rested it on the wall behind me, taking a deep breath.

Show time.
