Having a relationship is pretty hard, especially when your boyfriend is constantly ignoring you

It's not because Alan dislikes you, It's because of his constant work at his office.

But for the first time for who knows long, Alan was willing to go out on a date with you.

The plan was to have it at the park, on a hill while having a picnic. You were doing to eat (sandwich choice) and drink (drink choice). Since you forgot to ask what he wanted to eat, you made him the same thing you ate.

At the park, you walked to the hill while carrying the picnic basket with your food, blanket, and drinks inside it.

You set up the blanket and the food while waiting for Alan, who still hasn't come yet

'That's weird' you thought. "It's 5:52. He's 12 minutes late!'

You looked upon the other hill right next to yours, and there was a man with brown wavy hair, a white shirt, a brown jacket, navy blue pants and a red, beanie. You watch him set up his blanket and his food and he looks over to you and notices you are staring at him (stalker vibes ngl).

You flitch slightly.

What he thinks your weird?

What if he thinks you are a stalker?

What if-

He smiles and waves to you. Not the reaction you were expecting, but you wave back, lay down on the grass, and continue to wait for Alan.

You turned to the brown haired man again. It seemed like he was waiting for someone too.

That moment, you receive a text from Alan

Hey Babe, sorry I cant make it. Work is very busy today

It's okay boo! I hope we can have another picnic someday!

He seemed so careless about you and and world around him. He seemed so into work he is incapable of meaning anything to anyone.

You were so lost in thought, you didn't notice the tall brown haired figure behind you tapping your shoulder

"Hello!" The man greeted cheerfully

Lets just say socializing wasnt your greatest talent so you shook while saying,

"H-hello."

'Damn why did I sound so much like an idiot?! He will probably just walk away and-'

"I'm Wilbur." Wilbur put his hand out and smiled, which calmed me down and I shook his hand.

"I'm Y/n" I said calmly

"So what are you doing out here?" He asked

"Well I was going to have a picnic with my boyfriend but he was busy with work" I said sadly

"Heh same but i have a girlfriend because i am not gay. Also instead of work i think my girlfriend is cheating on me." He said just a little too calmly

"Oh I am so sorry..." I trailed off

"Oh its fine she is a b**** anyway." He said

We talked a bit more about what we do for a living, and I found out he streams Minecraft

"Woah cool!"

"Heh I know right"

We both sat there in silence, not awkward silence, but the comfortable kind.

"So..." He trailed off

"Would you like me to be your boyfriend just for tonight?"
