Chloe walked into Lucifer's apartment, causing Lucifer to become confused.

"Detective?" Lucifer asked. "What a surprise,"

"Well, you should be glad it's me and not Maya," Chloe admitted as she crossed her arms "Where have you been?"

"Ah, you know me...busy, busy. No rest for the wicked,"

"Right, 'Cause deviant foreplay is so time-consuming,"

"Want to watch?" Maze asked.

"Maya's been calling you for three weeks," Chloe explained "Why are you avoiding her?"

"Well, I do have a business to run, Detective. I can't play Good Cop/Handsome Devil Cop all the time,"

"We've got a case that we can't do without you," Chloe explained.

"Really? What's so special about it?"

"We don't know a lot," Maya explained to Chloe as she arrived on the scene. "but we found the victim's purse in a Dumpster behind the theater. Her name's Rose Davis. She's 19 and..." she stopped when she noticed Lucifer walk up to the crime scene.

"Don't mind me. Just listening to your boring facts,"

Maya cleared her throat and looked at Chloe "She's a freshman at Pasadena City College, lives in Arca..."

"I'm not hearing any reasons why you need me on this case," Lucifer interrupted.

Maya nodded Chloe to go ahead, before looking at Lucifer "Look. I don't know what's going on. I get it maybe I shouldn't have done the sappy heart to heart moment with you...but Lucifer." she grabbed his hand, and Lucifer finally realized that she was shaking. "I need you...please,"

Chloe looked over as Lucifer and Maya entered the theater "Take the sheet off,"

Maya stopped at the edge.

Lucifer grabbed Maya's hand "Winchester?"

"I just really hate that this case happens, right as I begin to accept who I am," Maya admitted quietly as Lucifer rubbed the back of her hand with his thumb.

"I'm right here," Lucifer told her, no longer caring that Maya made him literally vulnerable.

Maya nodded and the duo walked closer to the body.

"Oh, well. That is unfortunate,"

"Roll her over," Chloe said.

"I hate cultists," Maya muttered as they overlooked the words carved into the girl's back Hail Lucifer.

"This is sickening," Lucifer said.

"I know," Maya said. "It's horrific,"

"No, I mean, to blame it on me. It's an atrocity. These Satanists. Misguided cult nob heads with Frisbees in their earlobes. This poor girl's death has nothing to do with me, Winchester,"

"This is your doing!" A man exclaimed as he rushed into the theater "This is your fault!"

"You, what are you doing in here?"

"You're the Devil! You're the King of All Evil! You're the King of All Lies! You must be destroyed!"

"Why don't you get out of my crime scene, pal," Maya spat, nodding to the other officers to escort him off the scene.
