Q1. How did you come up with the title for your book?

A1. I was scrolling through Pinterest and saw Master Ugway's quote there which inspired me in terms of an overall theme for my fic, and so I used a fragment of that quote as inspiration for the title.(PS: inspirational I see...)

Q2. How would you describe your book's ideal reader?

A2. I don't think that there is such a thing as an ideal reader. anyone is welcome to reading my fics, whether they know the drama or not, whether they relate to the MC or not, whether they're rooting for the male lead or the second lead. this fic in particular I dedicated to everyone that was heartbroken seeing Seojun be rejected after everything that he did for the girl he liked, but I wouldn't say that these people are my "ideal readers". anyone is welcome :))(PS: Han Seojun really needed justice and I think you are giving it to him)😂

Q3. What comes first for you — the plot or the characters — and why?

A3. I think that usually the characters come first to me because while watching dramas, I think about the type of character that I would have liked to see in that drama and BOOM, an OC is born. then once I have a character or two in mind, their personalities naturally generate a plot while I write.

Q4. What's your favorite and least favorite part of publishing?

A4. my favorite part of publishing is when I get to interact with readers in the comment sections. honestly nothing makes me happier than seeing the reactions of the readers and discussing plot points with them as well as seeing their theories, it's just so much fun!! :)) the least favorite part of publishing is probably when people start asking for a new update straight after I publish one instead of enjoying the content that I've put out that day(PS: honestly I also get happy while interacting with you through comments)❤

Q5. What part of the book was the most fun to write?

A5. hmm I think I enjoy writing soft scenes the most - scenes between Jae and Soojin which show off their cute friendship, scenes where Seojun is whipped for Jae but in denial, scenes where Suho is a sad boi while trying to win Jae back - stuff like that is very fun to write

Q6. Which of the characters do you relate to the most and why?

A6. I think that I relate to Jae the most. I'm always there for my friends and trying to keep them safe and happy while dealing with my problems on my own and trying to keep those a secret so that I don't burden any of my friends (PS: SAME HERE....)

Q7. What is a significant way your book has changed since the first draft?

A7. I think that I've become more confident in my writing and have gotten to know the characters better through the writing process so now the story flows better. hopefully anyway haha XD

Q8. What perspectives or beliefs have you challenged with this story?

A8. hmm well I think that I'm challenging my own beliefs in this story in terms of dealing with my problems on my own and that being the best thing that I could do. I know I'm not the only one that does this so I guess I'm challenging this belief in general and showing both myself and my readers that it's okay to rely on people and break down sometimes because that's all part of being human

Q9. How do you process and deal with negative book reviews?

A9. usually I appreciate constructive criticism from people that point out mistakes or plot holes. but when someone just bashes my story out of nowhere it's a bit unexpected and I try not to be rude when telling people to leave my book if they don't like the story, but ultimately it does upset me slightly because I work so hard on my writing and I feel like my child is being bullied ;^;(PS: that's a nice way to deal with it!🤩)

Q10. What advice would you give to a writer working on their first book?

A10. I advise writers to have fun while writing. when you're inspired, write as much as you can and when you're not, don't force yourself just because someone is demanding updates. also it's alright to not have a laid out plan when you start, just know a rough beginning middle and end to your story so that you know where you're going with it :)) enjoying the writing process and writing about what you like is most important :))❤
