I see things getting brighter;
I know you've heard this all before,
But try to trust me a little more;
It's okay to cry here,
It's okay to feel fear;
I'd be scared too,
Look at what you've been through;
You've come so far,
Don't cover that scar;
Scars to show you're winning,
Living isn't sinning;
I know it sounds cliché,
But it gets better one day;
And if you were looking for a reason not to end your life,
Here's me telling you to hold on for one more night;
You never know what tomorrow will bring,
But the sun will rise and the birds will sing;
