Then, she held her hand for you to take. You accepted it and she helped you get back on your feet before wiping off the sweat from your forehead
"I think that's enough for today. Well done"
You walked up to the other side of the room and grabbed your water bottle
Since you were given the job ad the Bugle a week ago, you started taking some courses that could be useful given your new employment
One of those courses included learning to defend yourself. Granted, the lessons Elektra gave were anything but cheap but she offered you a discount because, and I quote "she liked your enthusiasm"
Which you appreciated a lot since the lessons took place in Elektra's apartment. That is probably the fanciest place you've ever been to
And you were friends with Harry Osborn
"You know, I've had many students, but I've never seen one so happy after getting the crap kicked don't of him"
You laughed at the comment and turned to see her
"That's because today I'll finally go get my motorcycle"
She crossed her arms and smiled back at you with a teasing smirk
"A motorcycle and fighting lessons? You really are taking this job of yours seriously"
You shrugged before you took your things
"In a city with aliens and gods roaming around? I think that's just being cautious"
She chuckled and received the money you gave her. Payment for the lessons, of course
