Peter and you stood in front of the table, which displayed the DnD board map in all its glory. You showed a proud grin while Pete stared in awe at your creation
"You really outdid yourself this time, Y/N!"
"Well, it is a special occasion"
Pete nodded in agreement
"Speaking of..."
You turned to look at him while hiding your bandaged right hand. It was a glorious board indeed, but it came at a cost. Nothing major, though
"You don't happen to have the figures in that bag of yours, do you?"
Peter fully turned to face you as you pointed at the bag he carried with him. He smirked shortly after
"Nope. You'll have to wait until we get home"
His answer earned a groan from you, and in turn, a laugh from Peter
"But...but the Velocipastor!" You complained
Pete lifted his hands in playful surrender
"It's going to be worth it, I promise"
"NEEEEEEEERDS!!"
Suddenly, another voice came yelling from across the apartment. It was Laurie with her hair tied into a bun and her laptop under her arm
"Oh. Hey, Laurie"
Pete just waved, while you crossed your arms as you gave her an unamused look
"I don't think you're in a position to judge, Ms. 'That's classified information' "
Your sister laughed as she got to the couch and picked a bag of her own to store her laptop in
"Hey, at least I get paid for it"
She brought out the keys and walked to the door
"I'm gonna make a stop by that pastry and coffee shop place before going to work, Want anything?"
"A cupcake would be nice"
She nodded before opening the door and looked back at you two
"Bye Pete"
"Goodbye, Laurie!"
She smiled and then looked at you
"Try to not get hit by a truck on your way to Harry's"
"Try to not make anything explode at your lab"
Your sister hummed with a smirk before she left the two of you. You turned your attention back to the map
"Alright, let's get this thing rolling"
