She was trying to be quiet. But trying to put on her heels before walking into the bedroom probably wasn't her greatest idea. The number of nights Rosa had stayed awake to make sure Lola was okay, she had lost count of. She did this to make sure Lola stayed asleep making sure that if she did dream, she caught the movements so she could wake her up before it went too far. She usually didn't show it but Lolita knew her girlfriend was exhausted. As sweet as it was that she did this, Lola hated it. It made her feel bad but there was no way she'd say something again. Another argument about this was the last thing either of them wanted. The last thing either of them needed.

Part of her couldn't help but think Rosa being short and snappy with her was her fault. Lolita knew she was tired but couldn't help thinking she was annoying, talking too much, and getting too excited at the slightest things. She didn't want to bring it up again. Rosa was too irritable. It would likely start an argument or she'd snap without meaning to so she stayed quiet.

"I'm not annoyed at you, Lolita" Rosa snapped.

Quietly, Lolita placed the mug of tea on Rosa's nightstand and bent down to gently press a kiss to her temple. Grabbing one of Rosa's jackets from the closet, she not so quietly made her way towards the door. "You're leaving me?" The taller woman's voice spoke tiredly, her girlfriend jumping slightly as she turned around in the doorway. "And stealing my clothes?" With the tiredness in her voice, Lola didn't pick up on her playful tone.

"I always steal your clothes" Lola pointed out, defensively as held the jacket in her arm. "I was going to leave before you woke up and let you sleep"

"I woke up the minute you got out of bed. I would've joined you in the shower but chances are you would've kicked me out anyway" There was little to no emotion in her voice as she rested her arm over her eyes. The worries about the lack of tone filled Lola's mind but she tried to push them away, accidentally giving a pointed look. A look Rosa was all too familiar with at the moment. Apparently, it was the face Lolita made while trying not to think about something. A fact neither of them knew. "Don't look at me like that. I'm not tired. You got your way, I fell asleep." She sighed, holding her arms out for Lola. When she didn't move from the doorway, Rosa rolled her eyes. She could sense her hesitation. "I don't want another argument, Lola. It's 7 am, and our shift starts at 9. Just lay with me" Lolita didn't move. "Please" She reluctantly added with what could only be described as a heavy sigh of exhaustion. Of course, Lola didn't hear it that way.

The small woman said nothing as she slipped off her heels and dropped the jacket to the floor and climbed onto the bed, into Rosa's arms. "I was going to work on my grammar and spelling with Holt" Lola mumbled into her girlfriend's chest. "I'm going to be late"

"You could at least make it sound like you care, bonita" The ravenette teased, unknowingly easing her girlfriend's worries ever so slightly.
