(Y/n's pov)

"Sand has a weakness and it's weakness..." I said in a seductive tone. "...Is water."

I watched Muichiro sheath his sword back in as I observed the demon leaving the world.

"Now we just have to figure out how to get out of this place." I whined.

"I mean there really is no way out of here. Just a dark pit with no exit but an entrance."

Before I knew it, a great unexpected force of wind pushed us back up and right out of the building.

"Well that works." I said with my eyes widened.

I guess once the demon of this place dies, so does the place.

We watched the wooden planks dissolve just like the sand demon.

"Are you okay Y/n?" Muichiro asks.

"Yeah, are you?"

"I'm okay."

"Alright let's take care of these guys." I said, walking to the wounded survivors.

I had to admit, I was really hungry, but I pushed it away and never seem to think of it again.

-TIME SKIP-

We both returned back to headquarters in silence. I wasn't sure why I somewhat felt awkward...

"Welcome back my children."

Me and Muichiro bowed and greeted Oyakata-sama.

"You seemed to have taken a little longer than I expected, was there any problems you would like to share?"

"No not really... I think the mission went by pretty smoothly." I answered with my back stiff.

Man I'm starving...

Muichiro stayed quiet as Oyakata-sama gave a speech on how we could work better and all.

"Well then." He finally concluded. "You two can take a break."

"Thank you Oyakata-sama." Muichiro finally added before leaving quicker than I could.

I followed him behind, then stopped.

"I'm gonna go for a walk."

"Aren't you hungry?" He asked as if he read my mind or something.

"Mmmehh not really..."

"Just come eat first."

"No I'll be quick."

"sigh. Don't die while your at it."

"Funny." I yelled as I was already far away.

I chuckled at my own response.

I mean, I don't have my sword at the moment, but I'm sure I'll be fine—

SKRRT

Something flashed at the corner of my eye as I quickly hid.

"Hmm... Your much more skilled than I've been told." A dark male voice commented.

I panted, trying to bring myself together.

My head spun in many different directions and pounded hard.

I knew I couldn't fight, so I ran as fast as I could back to Muichiro's house.

I could feel a shadow catching up.

"Shit shit shit."

As I got closer to Muichiro's house, I ran and used all the energy I had left.

Just as I was about to reach the door nob and yelled, then blacked out immediately.

"MUI—"

I shouldn't have left.

"I'll help you discover your true power... Y/n."
