Delilah Ross POV:

I yawned and opened my eyes to meet the bright light of the sun. The blanket that was draped over me was now laying on the floor with popcorn on it.

I got up and looked around the room to see that it was a raging mess. Popcorn coated the floor and cookies were left on the table, probably hard and cold compared to last night.

I walked into the kitchen and saw that Tess was hard at work, cooking breakfast. The smell of chocolate chip pancakes hit my nose as I sat on a barstool.

"Smells good in here" I said smiling at her. She looked over her shoulder and smiled back. "Thanks it's my secret recipe" she wiggled her eyebrows and looked back at the food.

"As in "secret" do you mean adding extra bananas and blueberries in the mix?" I asked with a raised eyebrow. "Yes but shhh don't tell anyone" she put her finger over her lips and smiled.

Tessa has been like a sister to me ever since I met her. She has been nothing but kind to me in every way and somehow always knows what's best for me.

I was so lost in thought that I didn't even realize my phone ringing. "That mine?" Tessa asked. "Nope that's mine" I got up and looked at the caller ID but it said 'unknown'

Me being me I answered and stayed silent until someone spoke. "Delilah" light voice spoke. I stayed silent and waited for them to say more.

"It's Venessa and I need you to help me" 

So now she needs me?

I scoffed and brought the phone down from my ear. "Wait Lilah don't hang up...please" she said. "I know I don't deserve your attention right now but I'm in deep shit Lilah"

I took a deep breath and finally spoke. "How did you get my number?" I asked. "Dad gave it to me. But listen-" before she could get another word out I ended the call.

I did't want to hear shit about my father or her, neither did I care. My phone buzzed on the tables again but this time it was a text.

'Me me at 48.8584° N, 2.2945° E  tomorrow and don't be late'

I sighed and grabbed my laptop to look up the coordinates.

It was in France.

Heyyy so I know this Chapter was extremely short and I'm sorry. Buuutttt that gives me more time to make more chapters for y'all sooner :)
