you woke up hearing movement outside your door. "nick?" you called out, sleepily.
the door opened slowly and your boyfriend smirked at you playfully, before greeting you, "hey babe, did you sleep well?" he asked, genuinely sounding interested
his question made you smile, and you nodded, reaching out to him, signalling that you wanted your boyfriend to lie down with you.
his smile widened as he approached you, wrapping his arms around your waist, cuddling into you. the two of you laid there, content in the silence.
soon enough, you had fallen asleep again in the arms of the self proclaimed sly fox, his warm embrace was enough to comfort you no matter what and he felt secure with you wrapped up against his chest.
