Today marks the 20th birthday of John Kim and to celebrate his birthday, his family threw a birthday party for him at the private cemetery where he was buried to honor and remember his special day.
Invited in the party was none other than Jeno Lee.

You would think that it'll be awkward for Jeno to attend John's birthday celebration along with John's family, especially 'cause he was believed to be the murderer of John Kim but Jeno never felt scared, anxious or nervous meeting the Kims.
In fact, he was honored that Kai Kim, John Kim's brother, invited him over.
"I'm so glad to see you out of prison and I'm so glad you were able to attend my brother's birthday party." Kai welcomed Jeno.
"Pleasure all mine, hyung. Thank you for inviting me. Does your parents know that I am coming?" he asked.
They were still at the gates of the cemetery hence Jeno couldn't see who was present at the party.
"They have no idea." Kai said. "But... do not worry, I'll be here to defend you. Afterall..." Kai placed a hand on his shoulder.
"I've always believed that you were innocent and I was right." Kai said to him.
Jeno nodded and he smiled. "Thank you, hyung. I appreciate you."

Kai was John Kim's elder brother, you'd expect that he would be mad at Jeno because of his conviction but Kai was one of the few who believed Jeno's innocence.
Kai was close with Jeno and he knew that Jeno would never ever harm his brother. So when Jeno was convicted of murder, Kai greatly opposed but his family argued that it was really Jeno and he didn't want to betray his family so he just kept silent as he has no solid alibi to prove Jeno's innocence too.
