Prologue
My life used to be normal. Normal and boring. Get up, go to school, trudge until lunchtime, listen to music, trudge until 3:10, and then go home to a near empty house. My parents probably did care about me, just not enough to stay home at all. Mason was my best friend and he was at my house more then my parents were. We could tell each other everything. Or, so I thought. Then I'm taken away from him and my home only to find that no one is who they say. I'm not even who I thought I was. Adrian Is constantly just popping into my head for a visit, Mason now wants to kill me, my life is at the mercy of a she-devil named Adalyn and as cliche as it is, nothing is the same.
