          No poetry begets poetry;
          but criticism behind smiles,
          skepticism behind lauding,
          and fool comparison beyond miles,
          what poetry shall be living for;
          by chance existence paved way,
          within poetry's birthing page,
       'till poet weeps who leaves or stays;

          for no poetry's written
          be nodded ending;
          but soul-reflected,
          worst - mere examined;
         'till one poetry' s poetry
         chants louder than most;
         might be touched or forgiven,
         still no poetry's host;

        for no poetry begets poetry;
        as no loving begets loving,
        no apology begets apology,
        only approval or declining;
        how miserable, how pitily;
        deplorable do humans live,
        within demands sole to consume,
        never exchange identity;

        maybe no poetry's written;
        sole to poetry's lovers,
        maybe no birth was given;
        to the beginning of others,
        but may poetry's written;
        to this world of no lovers,
        as may birth only given;
        to the death of those others .
