Luke was ready to respond, but Spencer took his place.

"This jerk intends to go somewhere else."

After that, the gang frowned at Luke, prompting Luke to gulp nervously.

Lina sighed, putting her tray of cookies on the table, irritated.

"Then I guess our timing is really good, we'll miss this jerk if we arrive late, and we'll just see him come home fainting again."

Luke frowned and was about to complain when Selena put a cookie into his mouth, rendering him speechless.

"Stop talking and just eat, we came all the way to Ava's simply to learn how to bake cookies for you, you moron."

Liam then spoke in a bashful tone while staring at his platter of cookies.

"However, Ava did the majority of the labor for us, I wouldn't claim I made these cookies myself-"

"Oh please, we mixed the dough and put it in the oven. At least, we contributed something, even if it was only a little."

Yulia simply patted Liam's drooping shoulders and placed her tray on the table; Liam followed suit and sat down. They then turned their attention to Luke, who was quietly examining the tray in front of him. Selena then asked him a question.

"How come you're just staring at it? Come on, give it a try."

Luke spoke while frowning at them.

"Since Ava did everything, they all look and taste the same."

The four fell silent and covered their faces with their palms to hide their humiliation. Luke just stared at them, speechless.

"Haa, I urged Ava not to do everything for them, but she is too stubborn."

The folks within then turned their attention to the elegant green-haired man who entered the kitchen with a stressed expression on his face. He then sat down next to Luke and ate a cookie from one of the platters. He then remarked while grinning at the four persons with flushed cheeks in front of him.

"Thanks to Ava doing all the work for you four, they all look and taste the same as this brat remarked. Well, I'm not surprised because Ava is so nice, and partly because you guys almost burned down my forest."

Luke gave Erdene a surprised look before turning his gaze to the four uncomfortable persons who were burying their faces in the table in astonishment.

"Burned? Did you guys almost set fire to a forest?"

With a groan, Erdene replied.

"Yes, I'll have to reschedule my appointment with Mira as a result of this. What a tumultuous morning that was."

Luke then glanced at the four with incredulity and a perplexed expression, forcing them to bury their faces even deeper. Luke simply moaned and rubbed his temples.

"All right, now put your thoughts aside and eat."

Spencer then sat beside his siblings, removed his apron, and stared at the embarrassed four and Luke, who was merely frowning at the food.

"What are you all up to? Go ahead, eat."

Luke simply sighed and snatched some food for his plate, while Nash had already grabbed some and was eating nonstop. Of course, he didn't forget to throw some on Luke's plate, resulting in Luke's plate being overflowing with meat.

"Oh, you're all here?"

When the individuals within the room turned to look at the door, they were surprised to see Bell and Julius staring back at them. Liam then inquired of them.

"What are you doing here, you guys? Aren't you two busy?"

Bell and Julius scratched their heads after that.

"I had just woken up and was hungry, so I came here."

"I just arrived here and happened to run into Bell along the way, so.... Here I am."

Then Erdene addressed them, pointing to the available chairs.

"Well, since you're both here, join us for breakfast."

The two of them exchanged nods and sat in the open chairs. Julius then looked around, his face shocked

"It's been a long time since we've all been together in this way."

"Since this brat is always gone,"

Erdene then pointed at Luke, who was seated next to him, causing Luke to scowl. He simply sighed after that.

"Let's just eat,"

The group nodded and began to eat their food silently. Spencer then asked Luke a question while he was eating.

"So, Luke, what do you need me for?"

While answering, Luke put down his fork and wiped the sauce from Nash's face.

"We're going to Brom Kingdom,"

The clinking of silverware came to a halt, and Luke turned to face his company, who were staring at him, or more specifically, glaring at him.

Erdene then asked him a question.

"How are you planning to spend your time there? Aren't they the foes?"

Luke smiled and nodded.

"That's why I'll go there,"

Yulia then inquired, frowning.

"To do what? Do you want to talk about peace to them?"

Luke eyed Yulia with amusement as if she was funny.

"Talk about peace? What are you talking about? Do you believe I'll go there to talk about peace?"

Lina then asked him a question.

"Then why are you going there?"

Luke gave a sly grin.

"What else do you think?"

With a sneaky look, Selena clicked her tongue and questioned Luke.

"Are we going to obliterate everything?"

"Yes."

"Great! Count me in!"

"No, you will not be a part of this; I require your assistance for another plan."

Selena glared at Luke and he paused to smile at her.

"What?! Why not? And what else do you even need me for?!"

"You'll find out later. For the time being, I simply require Liam, Spencer, and Lina to accompany me to Brom Kingdom. Also, Selena, you are welcome to accompany us so that we can proceed to our next location right away."

"Tch."

Selena slumped back in her seat and frowned as she crossed her arms. Luke simply ignored her and went back to eating.
