Chapter Thirteen- PROTECTING FAMILY

Threats berms going around every from the girl father every since Avery killed her and her father wants her blood

Adrian is doing everything in his power to protecting what is his and the baby that his love is having

He was so excited to her about having a heir, at first Avery was scared to tell him because of his reaction but was surprised when he took it so well.

He also explained about his fuck buddy that Avery killed.

Now her father wants revenge and Adrian has been working extra hard, adding more bodyguards then usual surrounding his house cause he takes threats very seriously.

A week has gone by and Adrian is laying down, rubbing Avery stomach while holding her tightly against him afraid he'll lose her.

She stirred in her sleep every now and then before going back to cuddling him. Adrian loved the feelings and wasn't going to get up any time soon

"Boss they're attacking– ahh"

Adrian heard from the other side of the phone and immediately got up, startling Avery while doing so. He went towards his draw see and pulled out his set of gun loading them up.

"What's going on" she ask sitting up

He handed her a gun before saying," We're under attack. Take this gun and get to the safe house"

Avery got up and grabbed her weapons before kissing Adrian and leaving running down the hall way.

Adrian has his gun ready before speaking

"I want everyone to shoot anything you see that don't belong. Bring me the leader once captured." He spoke into the microphone, hearing yes boss

Adrian traveling slowly through his mansion holding up, he see people in his hallway talking and immediately shoot them

So far he had all taken 15 men's down

He turned a corner before a bullet went flying m, grazing his shoulder

He breathe heavily before slightly muttering fuck under his breather. Meanwhile Avery saw who shot him and shot the dude between his eyes making him drop dead on the ground.

She came towards Adrian before ripping a little of his shirt and wrapping his arm up putting pressure on the injury

"Why the fuck you ain't gone yet" he ask angrily

"I couldn't leave plus I saw you get shot and came to help"

"I had everything under control "

"I can see that" she said looking directly at his injury on his shoulder

He huff before saying, "We'll talk about this later right now focused on what's important "

"Boss, we got the leader but there is still more man coming in a van"

"Bring him to me and have men gather up to kill the rest"

Once everything settle down, Adrian had already told the guard to put the dude down in his basement for him later

The maids were cleaning up the mess while the guards were checking to see if any one was still alive or the damage

He couldn't let anything happens to them for he would feel guilty. Avery is taking a rest. She's been sleeping a lot lately cause of the baby so Adrian didn't think much of it

He walked towards his basement heading towards his prey
