Here I am, Sakura, not even knowing who I am or rather the power I wield. There have been so many instances where I could not even help my friends. I have been completely useless. Sometimes, I wished the clock would turn back, so that Sasuke was here, that Naruto had brought him back and that I would...

I couldn't finish because I had seen this familiar blonde who I wasn't expecting to see till next year approach me. He was taller than he was, when we last saw each other, and looked wiser. Well, scratch the last part , this is Naruto I am talking about, he will never be wise enough to learn how to make his own ramen instead he coninues to spend money at Ichariku's ramen shop. but he has grown.

I joined Konohamaru to meet him only to also find out he was standing there with Jiraiya aka pervy sage and a friend to my sensei Lady Tsunade.

He seemed to have noticed me and I couldn't help but notice how his adventurism when he saw me. I guess someone has not gotten over their crush. I couldn't help but recall our time together as team seven but suddenly became sad as an image of as Sasuke crawled from the depths of my anywhere I had locked my inner Sakura who had grown weak and died when Sasuke had left the village. his voice that called me annoying still stayed behind to haunt me, comforting yet terrifying.

Naruto must have seen the sudden change in my mood and pulled me in for a hug. It was indeed an unexpected move that it landed him on the floor with a bump the size of his rasegan on his head.

Well you can't blame me because I just got back from a mission with Ino and Hinata to an island that had only men as 95 percent of its population. I know, it doesn't make sense for Tsunade to send an all women team but she did anyway. I mean I trust her an all and I am glad that she believes in us, but really? Well, her reasoning was for us to demonstrate to the villagers that we, girls, are more capable of becoming shinobi and not just housewives. I guess she did have a point. For if a woman ever won, that tradition would be put to an end.

When we got to the village we learnt that if a man won a fight against the man of a household he then wins their daughter for a bride or if he won a fight against a female ninja she became his wife.I know such a chauvinistic tradition. Well that changed as soon as Ino, Hinata and I assisted the princess of the village in defeating the most powerful shinobis. This was a great step, not just for women but girls who are now being accepted into academies as students.

Meanwhile that had not kept the cowards from trying  to kidnap us which was why my guard was up and my fist reflexes are dangerous. Too bad Naruto didn't know that.
