When Felix woke up, Chan was still or already sleeping again but tiny Rosie was already up having her breakfast, quietly drinking her appa's yummy milk.
The alpha shifted so he could start cleaning the bed a bit, after their daughter had been born they had been just too tired to clean up the mess that was left after a birth.
Of course Felix had made sure that Chan nor Rosie had to sleep on blood soaked sheets and he had also made sure that the afterbirth was complete but there were still dirty towels on the floor, the air was horrible in the room and his omega definitely needed a shower, he had only been cleaned as much as necessary last night.
He quickly but as quietly as possible collected all the dirty clothes from the bed and floor and stuffed them in the laundry basket, also took the bag with the afterbirth out and opened the window a bit.
A few minutes after Felix finished the tiny pup suddenly squeaked softly as she stumbled over her paws making her daddy coo.
"Good morning my little flower"
he smiled and picked her up, stroking her soft fur while the small girl made soft noises.
Felix took his sweet time to appreciate his daughter now that it wasn't dark anymore, she was so beautiful.
Her dark grey fur was so soft, her tiny ears and little snout and the alpha absolutely adored her white paws, they were just so cute.
It reminded him of his papa, a beautiful red-brown omega with white paws but it also reminded him of Seungmin when he was born, he is the exact copy of their papa.
Chan started to stir in his sleep, wincing slightly as he stretched his legs, his whole body still sore from the birth.
"Good morning love"
Felix smiled widely and petted his mate's head, gently scratching behind the older's ear while he still held their little girl close to his chest.
With a soft sigh the omega shifted to his human form, groaning from exhaustion.
"Rosie"
he mumbled softly, his eyes still barely open but his hand already searching for his daughter beside him.
"She's with me"
The alpha giggled softly when Chan looked at him with droopy confused eyes but a soft smile immediately spread over his face as his gaze fell on the small puppy in Felix's hands.
Rosie was placed down right beside her appa, whining softly when her daddy let go of her but she immediately calmed down once Chan pulled her close to his chest, kissing the top of her little head.
"Hey beautiful"
he cooed, caressing her tiny cute paws with the tip of his index finger, his eyes glistening with unshed tears.
"I can't believe she's here now"
Felix giggled excitedly, suppressing a squeal since he really still couldn't get over the fact that their daughter was really here with them now.
"Me neither, it's crazy. Yesterday night you were still playing and talking to her while she was in my belly and now she's here sleeping as if she had never done anything else"
Chan chuckled looking down at the sleeping baby on his chest, his hands holding her close.
"And she's a girl, we were right."
"I'm glad, we would have had a problem with a name if it would have been a boy."
"Her name fits so well, it's perfect."
The alpha nodded in agreement as he laid down beside his mate, snuggling close so he could rest his head on Chan's warm chest and watch their pup sleep peacefully.
She would probably wake up soon, wanting to be fed again but until then the new parents were just enjoying the time of silent closeness together with their little one and the euphoric feeling of having a newborn baby, their newborn daughter.
The moment was perfect, they were perfect, she was perfect.
And still Chan knew his mate was missing something or someone.
"Seungmin will come soon, I'm sure about that. I think he knows his niece was born last night."
"I just hope he's okay."
Rosie whimpered softly in her sleep, making soft baby noises before going back to her deep sleep.
