14. Lost

Ranvijay's point of view

Rudrayani is really good in fencing but she needs a little more practice. But I no worries. I will be there for her from now on. I will help her. Rudra wanted to go to her suite and sleep. But she refused to take me along until she reaches the suite. After she left the court hall, I was suddenly feeling so empty. Our parents were there with me in court hall. But rudra's absence draws the life out of me.

" come on, Ranvijay she has just went to her suite. She needs rest. Tomorrow you can see her." My mind subdued me.

I couldn't help but feel restless so I directly went to raksha. She was playing with her teady. I went and sat on her bed. She stopped playing and asked me, "dada, rudra di was so cool today, right?"

I just chuckled and said, " of course. She was cool today. She wore the crown of Yuvrani for devgiri riyasat today. "

Raksha- "like you are Yuvraj of jaigadh , right dada?"

With that maasa and babasa entered there. And maasa answered rakshu instead of me, "yes my princess. Rudra is yuvrani just like your dada is yuvraj. "
That made rakshu smile.

Maasa continued, " now its sleep time rakshu, come on sleep now. " After rakshu fell asleep I also retired for day, and went to my suite. I fell on my bed thinking "Tomorrow will be so much fun."

In fact every thing is on correct track but why do I feel some thing is wrong? Why I am feeling this uneasy feeling in my chest. Shall I go to check rudra. I desperately want to see her safe and sound. Wait a minute. Maybe I am just overreacting.

We are right now in the ancestral palace of rudra. Everyone here loves rudra's family and everyone respects their royal family. Why anything wrong will happen to rudra. Maybe I need to calm down. Even uncle ratan and my babasa are there. Maasa and aunty komal are there to take care of rudra. Maybe all this restlessness is nothing serious.

I know rudra will always be there with me. I am worrying without any reason.And with those thoughts I dozed off.

Next morning, my eyes were closed still I could hear so much noise.

There was noises from so many people and their talking. All this chaos is getting a lot louder. This woke me up.

I sat on my bed rubbing my sleep off my eyes. I could hear telephone, it's having rings after rings. Gasping sounds, whispers and so much taking. As soon as my sleep worn off, I started feeling a void in my heart.

I left my suite and ran through corridors towards the source of all these sounds. As I reach there, I saw police and so many bodyguards there. Rudra's maasa, aunty komal was crying, her eyes were all red and puffed with crying. I saw my maasa also was crying. I was beyond horrified. I was looking for babasa now. May be he can help. I found him talking to a police officer. I went and stood behind babasa,

"commissioner, I dont know what you do, use all the forces. But I want rudrayani here infront of me by this evening. " ordered babasa.

My heart leaped out of my chest. What does that supposed to mean. Where is rudra? Why police?

"I found all the possible locations maa saheb. I don't know where he has taken our rudra. God why? where is my princess now?" I heard uncle ratan talking to dadisa.

For the first time till now I saw dadisa with slumped shoulders and bowed head.

Rudra's babasa was now sitting on the chair. He sat there as if he lost hope to live.

Now I was getting what must had happened. My worst fear was becoming reality. No ! No!!

This can't be real. No. Rudra and I were supposed to be together. My ears was hearing all the sounds but my mind could only hear a white noise.

Without any thought I ran to rudra's suite. There were so many royal bodyguards and police officers outside of her suite. I entered to see all her room was messed up.

There I heard a police officer say, "that kidnapper hasn't even asked for ransom. How are we even supposed to find where is the kidnapper right now. Its already 10 hours past, since princess is missing. "

After that , all that I could see was red. My rudra is kidnapped... I will kill whoever hurts my rudra.

Never in my life have I felt so useless. I wanted to find rudra anyhow.

So I again ran to uncle ratan. I stood in front of him. "Uncle ratan, I want to help find rudra. Please tell me what can I do ?"

He looked up, clasped my hands and said, " I don't have any clue, Who is behind all this. I just found a maid who saw a unknown guy around the palace's back gate." With that he got up and again left from there.

If no one is able to find my rudra, I will personally go and bring her back.

She always has so much to talk to me. She cant stay away from me. I know.

I turned around to leave, but dadisa held my hands to stop me. She said, "Yuvraj. Stop there. You cant risk your own life out there. If rudra is kidnapped, maybe your life is also in danger. "

This enraged me. I could not even process my thoughts. Usually I process each word I say. But today even my own mind, my words betrayed me.

"I can't be sitting here doing nothing fearing for my life, when my rudra is out there,I don't know where.
I won't let anything harm my rudra. Dadisa just let me go. I can't stand even a scratch on my rudra.

I will bring her back to you dadisa. Its a promise.

I PROMISE TO YOU DADISA, THAT I RANVIJAY PRATAP SINGH RATHORE, YUVRAJ OF JAIGADH WILL BRING YUVRANI RUDRAYANI BACK TO HER HOME. It's a royal's promise dadisa.

I will die for the cost to make my words true. I will complete my promise dadisa. Just let me go."

But she didn't let me go. She just hugged me tight and sobbed.

After 15 days
Third person point of view

The only lead royals got till now was that, the person maid saw at back door was kidnapper's partner. Police had arrested him.

And he confessed that they had kidnapped rudrayani to kill her, for some past grudges against sisodia family. Kidnapper said, he and his partner parted ways, thus he didn't know where is his partner right now . And police confirmed that these kidnappers were the escaped prisoners and professional killers who would not hesitate to kill anyone.

Both royal families were told by the police force that their beloved princess will never return home as police investigation says rudrayani was killed probably. They should leave hope for her return.

The pain both families experienced with this declaration by police was something like they were hit by lightning.

A part of their soul died listening to this unfortunate news.

But that arrested kidnapper also didn't Know that his partner didn't kill rudra. Instead he took her with him and he eloped far far away. He reached to such a place which was beyond imaginations of royals.
