The machine flatlines and Harper falls into Kelly's arms
"No!" Harper screams as she sobs
"I know" Kelly says as he falls to the floor with her
Harper sobs in Kelly's arms until she can hear beeping. She looks up with the slightest bit of hope in her eyes
"She's breathing" Dr.Marcel says shocked
"That's my girl!" Harper mutters
Dr.Marcel gets aria fixed up and it's an hour later. Kelly and Harper are sitting next to aria when she starts to stir
"Aria? Honey?" Harper says smiling
"M-Mum?" Aria says groggily
"Yeah honey! I'm here baby! I'm here" Harper says as she takes arias hand
"We missed you princess" Kelly says smiling
"I-I was g...gone?" Aria asks
"Only for a little while!" Harper says as she smiles softly
It's a couple of hours later and Harper is laying on the hospital bed next to aria with Kelly sitting on a chair next to them
"They'll be on shift" Kelly says looking at the time
"Do you wanna FaceTime Auntie Gabby at the firehouse?" Harper asks softly
"Yeah!" Aria says weakly
Harper grabs her phone and starts to FaceTime Dawson
"Hey!" Dawson says as she answers
Dawson is sitting in the bunk room along with the rest of 51
"Hey" Harper says
"How you holding up?" Dawson asks as Casey comes into the camera
"I think we might be able to come home sooner than we thought" Harper says as she smiles
"Huh?" Dawson replies as Harper shows them aria awake and talking
"Paramedic!" Dawson says enthusiastically
"Auntie Dawson" Aria says as she smiles weakly
"Guys come see this!" Dawson shouts as all of 51 run over
"No way! The diva is back!" Capp says happily
"We missed you kid" Tony replies
"We're so proud of you sweetheart!" Herrmann says as he smiles
"Well hello missy!" Amelia says enthusiastically
The phone finally gets back to Casey and Gabby
"Caroline can't wait to see you!" Dawson says
"When you get better though! That's all she wants!" Casey says as he smiles
Harper and Aria talk to the firehouse for another hour until Aria goes to sleep. Harper walks over to Kelly and sits on his knee and Kelly pulls her close
"Did you think she was gonna wake up?" Harper asks as she takes Kelly's hand
"I uhh wasn't sure" Kelly replies not quite sure how to answer that
"I didn't. I'll tell you that any day. I genuinely thought We'd lost her" Harper says as she looks at aria sound asleep
"We both knew she was too stubborn to go! She's just like her mum in every way" Kelly says as he kisses Harper
"Yeah maybe she is" Harper says as she smiles
