"Bella, are you sure you're all right?" Luca asked for the thousandth time, Olivia fought the urge to roll her eyes and just nodded her head with pursed lips.

"I'm fine, you came before anything could happen." Olivia said, purposefully using these words, softening him up and in doing so coercing him to let down his guard, by the time he would realize it would be too late.

"I'm sorry Olivia, you know I'll do anything to make sure you and our baby are safe. I'm devoted to you piccola." He wrapped his arms around her smaller body, forcing her into his embrace and Olivia couldn't help but recoil slightly at his touch, if he noticed he didn't say anything. They stayed like that for a bit, Olivia's nail's digging into the palm of her hand as she resisted the want to push him away from her.

"I'm going to discuss what happened with the men, you got ready for the appointment and don't forget the surprise." Luca said eventually letting go of her, she said nothing and just nodded, Luca giving her one last look before leaving the room. As soon as he was out the room she huffed, rolling her eyes as she fell back in the bed. She couldn't help but laugh a little, in slight disbelief that her plan had actually worked. However, her peace didn't last long because soon Lorenzo came barreling into the room.

"What the fuck do you think you're doing?" Lorenzo seethed as he pulled Olivia into the bathroom. Luca had asked Lorenzo to help Olivia clean up her wounds and get ready for her doctor's appointment.

"I did nothing that man attacked me" Olivia said with a shrugged, grabbing  a cloth to start cleaning her face. Lorenzo followed her and stood behind her with arms crossed.

"Olivia." He said but she ignored him, continuing to try and clean her face. Lorenzo rolled his eyes, before grabbing the cloth from her hand and forcing her to sit down on the toilet. He wet the cloth and began cleaning her face.

"I don't know what kind of twisted game of revenge you're playing but-"

"Twisted? I don't think anything gets as twisted as killing an innocent sixteen year old." Olivia bit back but still remained still so that Lorenzo could clean and disinfect her face.

"Olivia," Lorenzo sighed. "You're jeopardizing everything, you don't even realize how close you are, don't give up now."

"You keep saying that, close to what? What are you talking about?"

"Nothing, I'm just trying to help you."

"Help me? Please, Matteo said the same thing and look at me now." Olivia scoffed.

"Well that's what heartbreak does to you, never a trust a man in love."

"And that's why I'll never trust you, Lorenzo." Olivia answered and Lorenzo tensed, his hand frozen as he and Olivia and maintained intense eye contact.

"What are you talking about?" Lorenzo questioned but his voice wavered slightly and Olivia smirked.

"It must be painful, being in love with your best friend, a man you can never have. It must hurt knowing you will never the object of his affection, that you have to hide who you really are from those you love the most."

"You don't know anything about me." Lorenzo said firmly but Olivia just chuckled.

"I saw you Lorenzo, I saw you get off to Luca in the shower." His face paled at her words and her smile grew larger.

"It must suck, knowing that you'll never anything more than just one of his men." Lorenzo fists tightened and Olivia eyed it wearily for a second, thinking he was about to hit her.

"Fuck you." He spat, "To think I'm wasting my breath trying to save you and that bastard child of yours. " The grin on Olivia's face fell as Lorenzo walked out the room and for some odd reason she felt an inkling of regret for teasing him, she didn't understand why because Lorenzo was as much to blame for what had happened to her as the man Luca had just shot, if not more.
