"Please, Ria.. I'm sure we could work this out but please don't bring my family into this.. My daughter she's only a child and she still needs her mother.. So take me instead." I pleaded, breathing heavily. The woman stared at me with a haunting smile that bought chills down my spine. "Oh my dear Lèon, I don't need you at all.  You're too old and well.. you remind me of my past husband. Useless and weak." She said, laughing as she crossed her arms. "Also.. offering yourself like that isn't such a good idea for the future." She added.

I clenched my hands in anger. "Just bring the child.. I want to see her. I won't cause her nor your pretty wife any harm." Ria said, tapping her long witchy nails against the wooden table that sat next to her.

I shook my head, "See, Lèon, when you asked for an ID and protection.. You know this was going to happen." She laughs, "and you knew you, Jodie and your wife would've had to rejoin the community.. I saw that you were doing fine before, so why come and ask me to provide you an ID when you don't want your family here?"

I lightly gulp, looking away from her "Did your little wife convince you to come here because of the fear she holds?" Ria asks, as I stay silent. She chuckles, "Why didn't she come herself? It's been forever since i've seen her pretty face."

I bawl my hands into fists, "I want her to come to me, but in private and i'll discuss this matter with her." She says, sitting back, crossing her legs. "Oh and remember that, you can't outrun the community. No matter what you do, you will always be part of this." She says, in a lower tone as her eyes turn a dark silver. "You can blame your parents for their stupid choices.. but oh wait! They're dead!" She laughed out loud, making me growl at her. "Now, don't get so angry my love. It's only the truth." Ria shakes her head, looking away from me.

"You didn't have to bring up my dead parents.. and i'll find a way by myself." I say but before walking away she grabbed my arm with such a tight grip. "Lèon, you won't ever find a way to escape the community." She says, looking at me intensely causing shivers to go down my back, "I will, you can't force me to stay here with my family. I'll report you to the other Elders." I say, confidently. She chuckles, "Do you really want to do that?"

"I will do it, Ria.." I warned again, looking into her deep silver eyes. "If you do then i'll tell your sweet wife what you've been doing with your little side chick.. Her name is Eryka, right? Isn't she your assistant?"

I back away from her, "W-what? I've never done anything with that woman! I love Scarlet!" I say loudly, gulping. She smiles, "Do you really love her?" She asks as I automatically nod. "I've heard you say the same to Eryka that you love her more than anything.." She said. I begin to feel my heart race fastly. "I've never said that.." I shake my head, breathing unevenly. She laughs, "I can see it in your eyes that you're nervous and I can hear your small heart beating. Why are you so nervous?" She then proceeds to ask standing up.

"You're accusing me of stuff I never did! You have no evidence! I love my wife, she's my everything.. I love my family." I exclaimed, backing up as she comes towards me. "That's where you're wrong.. I have lots of evidence and I could show it to your wife." She says, "Why don't you admit it.. You don't love that woman anymore, you don't feel anything for that poor girl."

"You don't know how I feel. This is between me and my wife, not you!" I yell, getting frustrated. "Why are you so angry, hunter? Is it because you're afraid of your wife leaving you? you don't even love her!"

"I'm mad because you're accusing me of things i'd never do! I have a child with her for the love of god!"

"But you don't care." Ria said.

"Now, believe it or not I have the video of what you and her doing some.. stuff. So if you don't come here with your family, i'll send her the film with the sound on." She said winking at me. She proceeds to sit back onto her chair.

"I'll bring them alright.. But if you say anything I swear." I muttered, watching her satisfied face. "But I swear to the goddesses and gods above that I love my wife and child with my whole heart." I say as a unbelievable expression appears of her face.

She sighs and looks away, "Tell your wife to come here tomorrow at 10 am, sharp. I want her to tell me why she doesn't want to rejoin the community."
