Chasing the times where I would see his smile. That smile. The one he held for people he hung around. People he spoke to or maybe even cared about. The smile so small yet so genuine and sweet. A smile I wished to be casted in my direction, just once.

Time and time again I caught myself running in the never ending circle, with Samuel written all over it. Stuck spinning in the same direction with no progress.

Well that wasn't until a certain someone decided to force there way into my life and help me in ways that I couldn't even help myself in. And it's only been 1 day.

One greatly amazing day.

"I'm going to call you later and you better answer or else" Jess says from beside me as I pull up into the drive way of her house.

"I can't guarantee that" I joke, small smile evident on my lips.

This makes Jess let out a snort before she casted her gaze towards me. "You've got a nice smile, you should show it more often."

I pause for a second before feeling my face flush and heat crawl up my neck from the compliment.

" T-thank you" I mostly whisper making Jess snort again.

"I never would've imagined that the guy that lives with a shitty attitude and a resting bitch face could blush" Jess jokes.

The comment made even more heat rush to my face casting a faint rosy pink blush to spread out over my cheeks.

"Well, you learn something new everyday " Jess ends with a giggle, unbuckling her seat belt and exiting the car.

I watch as she walks over to my window tapping on the glass and signaling her hand in a rolling motion. It takes me a minute to figure out what she's doing but soon enough she's rolling her hand faster.

"Roll down the window" She mouths after noticing I wasn't going to understand what she was doing any time soon.

I roll down the window and Jess peaks her head in, staring directly at me.

"Can I help you?"

"You better answer the phone, or you will die " She says pulling her head back out the window and slowly walking up the drive way.

I watch as she reaches her door and throws me a funny face with the wave of her hand.

"Bye bye" She says slightly raising her voice.

"Bye" I mumble, mostly to myself.

Pulling into one of the many parking spaces, I park my car and get out. "Today was eventful" I think to myself entering my house and taking off my shoes.

I drop my bag in the living room and head upstairs to strip from my school clothes into more comfortable ones. I wash my face quickly in the bathroom after and head back downstairs.

Today is Friday I remember suddenly. Meaning I have the whole weekend off, otherwise from homework of course.

I head to the living room and reached for my bag. I hastily began to take out all my books, trying to figure out where to start.
