Mirs pov *the next day*

I still haven't found the right way to tell my parents about school but I guess I'm gonna have to tell em because they're gonna eventually find out I can't keep lying... plus is there even a real way to tell em? I woke up to the smell of food being prepared and I just knew it was my momma... I hopped outta bed getting freshed up and made my way to the kitchen.

Kay- ouuuu looka ma beybe! It's 1:30 thank god you finally woke up! I'm making all your favorites!

Mir- yea my sleep schedule is off but Just for me right?!

Kay- It'll be plenty for you to eat as much as you'd like crazy! I thought It would be nice to have lunch in the backyard as a family!

Mir-oh okay..

Kay- you okay? Something you wanna talk ta momma about?

Mir- Nah I'm fine mommy... I just really missed you!

I said hugging her and she giggled kissing my cheek

Kay- still a mommas boy huh!

Mir- I'll always be a mommas boy!

Kay- I'm so happy you're home beybe...when you going back to school?

Mir- Uhh soon...

Kay- ohh okay

She said nodding and I smiled after she got finished cooking she set the table up outside and we sat down as a family.

Aug- So youuuu just decided ta come back home after being hea fa Christmas?

Mir- Yea... I missed y'all!

Aug- Christmas was 3 weeks ago you ain't never came home like this befo'

He said looking at me with the side eye and I looked away

Kay- beybe stop questionin em! You gone make em feel like he ain't welcomed home anymo'

Aug- I'm jus sayin babe.. ain't nobody botherin you is Dey?

Mir- No... why does everybody keep saying that

Aug- I'm just making sho' yu ain't having no problems in school son...I pay good money fa' yu ta go ta school so I need yu ova there!

Mir- Right .... I hear you pops...

Kay- speakin of school... beybe you lookin alil slim you eating okay? Do we need ta get yu a better meal plan?!

Mir- Nah I'm actually gaining weight... maybe it's just this shirt..

Kay- Hmmm... ion knoe... eat some mo' food!

She said scooping more food on my plate smiling at me and I smiled back

Auzz- Sooo when can we come visit you at school?

Siyah- Yeah when can we?

Mir- Y'all wouldn't like it over there... it's too cold for y'all...

Rio- how?! We like snow too!

Mir- Okay so... no disrespect but I came here to get away from school and all this talk about school is doing me no good!

Rio- don't be acting stank with us we just asking questions nigga

Mir- And I gave you an answer nigga!

Kay- aye! Stop calling each other niggas ... Mir we're sorry we won't ask anymo' questions!
