Ch 17: Crisis on Earth X pt 5 (The real one this time)

Elicia thought about the question for a moment, waiting until she swallowed a bite of her ice cream before she answered. "I'm upset it broke all wrong...that my powers.." Elicia stabbed her ice cream with her spoon a few times. "...I wish I altered reality so that I transported you and I instead of me and him."

"I know, sweetheart." Clarity sighed hugging her lightly. "But you know what? It doesn't matter. We're together now. I won't let him take you from me ever again."

"But Mom...Father's so fast..." Elicia countered, "I don't know how you can stop him by yourself. Last time you fought with him...." Elicia dropped her spoon letting it sink in the whipped cream recalling when her mother and unborn baby brother had been blown up. She'd seen the whole thing before she'd hidden on the other waverider. She would never forget the look in her father's eyes.

"You let me worry about that, hm? I ran away with you in another reality, I can do it in this one too. I have all of my friends here. They'll help me keep us safe."

"They tried to help last time." Elicia pointed out. "They couldn't save you!"

"Of course they saved me. I'm right here aren't I?" Clarity challenged. "And your father didn't take you did he? Not til you ended up in the same place?"

"I guess not." Elicia reasoned, "but Father has friends now! They aren't like the other ones before. They're different, strong, powerful driven, they're like yours. Even exactly like you."

"I don't think your father is capable of friendship. He has allies. The people that attacked the church...are they working for your father?"

"He's working for them." Elicia corrected. "Father made a deal with them."

"So, he's not the mastermind this time. Thawne is just a player...but how does he fit into...." Clarity shook her head, she needed more brains. "Alright, let's go sweetie. Cmon, up, up, on your feet. You can bring your ice cream."

"Where are we going?" Elicia wondered as she followed her mother's instructions getting out of her chair.

"To the grown up meeting." Clarity replied. "Everyone needs to hear this and I think it's better coming from you, than me trying to repeat it all."

Clarity paused turning to Will and Jonas. "You two okay in here by yourselves?"

"Yeah, we're cool." Will nodded his head in reply.

"Jonas?" Clarity asked noticing the boy had yet to reply. "You gonna be okay?"

"Hm? Oh, Uh what he said. You go ahead, Clarity." Jonas tilted his head Will's way. Clarity nodded at the reply her and Elicia heading to the meeting.

"That doesn't make any sense." Felicity complained Clarity hearing her friends voice echo throughout the hall.

"It does if we're not dealing with an anachronism." Caitlin countered.

"We aren't." Clarity walked into the cortex holding Elicia's hand. She bent down straightening out Elicia's red leather jacket. "Tell them what you told me, honey. It's alright."

Elicia retold her tale of getting transported to another earth. About Thawne being back. Though she didn't know much about their plans or even that earth. Eobard rarely let her go outside on that earth as there was a war going on. The adults were always careful to leave her out of their plans. She didn't mention anything about Crash since she'd stayed behind not thinking she needed to.

"Visitors from another earth?" Barry asked. "Thats what we're dealing with? How sure are we that we can trust this kids intel?"

"Barry, she's my daughter." Clarity insisted. "Of course we can trust her don't be ridiculous."
