Ch 17: Crisis on Earth X pt 5 (The real one this time)

"Save your energy, Mom." Elicia protested. "We're going."

"Yeah, We can walk, Clarity." Will objected.

"We can run!" Jonas corrected with a laugh tagging Will and Elicia's arms. "Race you inside! First one there's fast as the Flash!"

"Hey!" Will objected, him and Elicia taking off after Jonas. "You two better not cheat and use your powers!"

"Like I need powers to beat you two." Elicia grinned. "Runnings in my blood!"

"I wish it weren't..." Clarity whispered softly to herself as she watched the kids run off. She started walking after them, Felicity and Caitlin following.

"Uh uh, Clarity." Caitlin stopped her from following the kids as the three women made it inside. Felicity going to watch the children."They'll be fine with Felicity for a few minutes. You need a check up. Those burns on your back don't look good. You don't speed heal like Barry."

"Can't you just patch me up later? I feel fine." Clarity looked at Caitlin pleadingly, but the look that the other woman gave her was as icy as her other personality. Clarity knew there would be no putting off her taking care of her injuries. She sighed, "Alright, alright, let's just make it fast. Please," She looked at her daughter who stood next to Jonas. "I don't want to miss a minute..."

"I don't either, think you can explain what I missed? Like what's up with you and Felicity? I didn't know you were arguing." Caitlin chatted as she steered Clarity away from the kitchen.

"Ugh, it all started at the bachelorette party..." Clarity began to recount. The two women's voices faded as they walked farther down the hall.

"Hey," Oliver greeted Felicity, who sat in the kitchen with the kids. The trio sitting in a circle on the floor an apple in the center between them. Jonas and Elicia practicing using their powers on the item, turning back time, altering its reality, reversing what each other did to it. On a napkin Will was taking notes. Felicity wasn't watching them though. She had her head in her hand, elbow resting on the counter as she sat at the breakfast bar. "Everything okay?"

"Wha-oh." Felicity smoothed down her hair with a nod and a blink of her eyes. "Mhm, everything's fine. Nazi's attacked our friends wedding, and Star Labs air conditioning is really working overtime." Felicity rubbed her arms. "It couldn't be better."

"Felicity." Oliver grabbed her arm gently, hand resting just under her elbow. He placed his jacket around her shoulders. "Talk to me. What's on your mind? Is it the proposal-"

"No, no." Felicity shook her head. "I mean yes that, and also Nazi's, but - It's mostly, Clarity. She's my best friend. We've always seen eye to eye, and now we aren't clicking like we used to. She's pushing me away. She won't listen to me, Oliver. She's doing all these-these reckless things. Riding motorcycles, becoming some agent for some secret time fbi." Felicity put her hands on Oliver's chest.

"That doesn't seem so bad." Oliver began to protest but Felicity kept talking and he grew silent.

"She did drugs, Oliver. She went ahead of us alone with Killer Frost to the club the night of the bachelorette party and she did drugs. Real Drugs, mysterious god knows what was in them metahuman tear drugs. Clarity doesn't do that kind of thing! But I'll bet money that Killer Frost talked her into it. And this morning, I found out she slept with her last night. Clarity had sex with her. And when I saw them walking together back from the church I couldn't believe it. After everything that I've told her she's acting like I'm the crazy one. All I'm trying to do is watch out for her. It feels like I'm losing my best friend to a villain."

"Already did." Mick grunted as he walked into the room three flashers in his arms. Felicity's mouth dropped as she stared at the arsonist, completely appalled by his comment. Oliver cleared his throat recovering before his..whatever Felicity and him currently were right now.
