Ch 16: Crisis on Earth X pt 4

"What do you suggest we do?" Overgirl replied.

Iris was walking in with Joe now, reality remaining unaltered, but Sara couldn't bring herself to look away from the beauty in front of her. How could she ever look away from her stunning Pachirisu at a moment like this? When flowers were raining down around her, and she looked like something out of a story book, like a flower goddess, fairy princess, or something like that. Clarity glided past her, something in the blonde softened, as two flower petals landed on her hand forming a heart. The assassin's fingers curling around the petals tenderly so as not to crumple them. Should she take it as a sign? Had Clarity done that on purpose somehow? With static or magnetism or however she did the things she did with her powers? Sara wasn't sure what to believe but there was a part of her that longed for it to be one.

When Clarity reached the end of the aisle she threw the whole basket up into the air, flower petals rained down the steps creating a waterfall of yellow and red petals. Clarity glitched away to the balcony. No one from the audience having been able to see how her disappearing act was done through the curtain of flowers. Kara continued to sing finishing up the song. Iris walking the rest of the way down the aisle to Barry. "All I want to do. Is come running home to you. Come running home to you. And all my life I promise to. Keep running home to you."

Clarity sighed in relief hand over chest now that she was out of sight on the balcony above. She was never ever ever doing that again. Ever. That was so nerve wracking she was surprised she didn't give herself a heart attack. Though looking down there Iris seemed to be happy. So did Barry. That made it all completely worth it.

"Everyone, please be seated." The priest ordered, Clarity went to walk down to her seat but she paused in front of the stain glass window gasping in shock. Elicia was standing right there. She looked older than when she last remembered seeing her, closer to the boys ages. Jonas was seemingly talking to her his back facing the church. Clarity glitched outside.

"Elicia!?" Clarity ran to the two children, but she was shocked to see Jonas was tied up. His hands bound at the wrist, his dress shoes laces were tied together, and a rag was in his mouth. Jonas tried to tell Clarity to turn around. Elicia gave no outward reaction. Eyes blank as ever, but inside she was screaming at her mother to run. To Glitch back inside and get help from her friends. But it was too late. Overgirl coming up behind the glitch, she heat visioned her right in the back. Because Clarity hadn't been expecting the attack she hadn't been able to absorb the energy and it harmed her like it would anyone else. She grabbed Clarity by the back of the neck and lifted her. She flew into the church the Nazi's trailing in behind her. Jonas getting dragged back in by the Nazi Arrow.

"Does anyone have just cause why these two should not be married?" The priest addressed the crowd. "Speak now, or forever hold your peace."

Overgirl made their presence known disintegrating the priest with her heat vision. The Nazi soldiers rushing in. Jonas struggling to get out of his rags but it was no good. Clarity hung limply in Overgirls grip body still smoking.

"Peace is overrated." The kryptonian threw Clarity down to the floor sending her skidding along the red carpet. The friction created making the whole red rectangle crackle with static. The edges charred black, flames sprouting up in places.

"She's out cold." Barry told Oliver and Kara having acted fast, cradling Clarity before the glitches head could slam into the stairs.

"Oh, you've got to be kidding me." Iris breathed, as Clarity was definitely down for the count and even more Nazi's came pouring in. Her and Barry would definitely not be able to walk back up that aisle now. Let alone finish their vows.
