I knock once more. Fuck!
Why is she not here? Is she okay?
Thoughts rush into my head. What if something happened?
I shake them away.
No I'm sure she's fine. She's heartbroken, but safe.
I sense tears trying to escape my eyes. I can't just give up. I want her to know that I would never do that to her. I never meant to hurt her. I just want to go back to how it was.

I walk back to my car and slump down in the seat.
What can I do? I drive back home. That's it. I'll just have to wait now. If I could just know where she went, but she could be anywhere. I sigh. I hate this. I just want to fix it now.

I try to calm myself. It feels like my heart is racing a mile a minute. I can't just sit here.

I get up and take a shower to calm my nerves.
It doesn't really help. I can't escape the regret I have. If I had just been better.

I put back on my regular clothes just in case I get to see her today.
I sit and wait in silence. Please just give me something.

I sit for what feels like a few hours.
I'm so anxious.
The phone rings and I jump up. Could it be....
No she wouldn't possibly want to call me right?
I pick it up. It's Takeda.
I answer to a very mad friend.
"You really are dumb aren't you? Luckily you got me."
"Yes I fucked up really bad. We've established that. Please tell me you know where she is."
I hear a sigh on his end.
"I shouldn't be doing this, but......Her and two of her friends went out awhile ago to the xx bar. They don't know the situation they just know y/n is sad. They just thought they could cheer her up."
Great. Just fantastic.
"Listen Ukai I know y/n and she's well.....a major lightweight who has no idea what the word limit is when she gets drunk. Usually I would pick her up and take her back safely, but because I trust you and even though you're a total asshole, you're still trying to fix this and I know she wants that too. I'm giving you thsi chance for both of your sakes. Don't mess up, go get her and please take care of her. Keep me updated and do something shitty again and I'll cut your dick off."
The phone clicks and my eyes widen.
Damn he's a little scary. I should've never underestimated him. Ever.
I sigh in relief. Thank god for Takeda. He's such a great guy.
Now to go get y/n.

I make my way to the bar.
The music is blaring and the lights are blinding.
This is less of a bar and more a nightclub. Takeda texted me and said that he already told her friends I would pick her up, so that's all taken care of.
I would call for her, but no ones gonna hear a thing.
Fuck it. I struggle to walk through the tons of people on the floor. Just let me find her and go quickly please.
I make my way to the actual bar first. She's not here. Figures.
I head through the crowd of people dancing. Then I spot her.....dancing.....with some strange man.
Oh hell no.
I feel my blood boil as he holds onto her swaying hips.
I tug her away from him. She squeals.
"Heyyy...."
She cranes her neck to see my face.
"Ohh....it's you."
She lets out a few giggles.
"Wow what are you doing here grandpa?"
She slurs her words a little.
The man throws his hands up.
"What the hell man?"
I shoot the guy a glare. If looks could kill I'm sure he'd be a goner by now.
He looks a little terrified and scampers off.
Good to know I can still be a little intimidating.
I grab y/n and we sit at the nearest table.

"Are you okay?"
She smiles and her face is all red and flustered.
"I'm good. I..mmm good."
I sigh. Even drunk she's still cute.
"Hey wait a ....minute. I..I'm mad at you."
She attempts to cross her arms, but instead almost falls out of her chair.
I grab onto her hand.
"Yeah yeah you're mad. Listen I think I should take you home. Okay? Takeda told me to come get you."

She lays her head down on the table.
"No. I'm not leaving! I hate you! You're mean. Leave me alone!"

She really is a little lightweight. Remind me to never take her out drinking.

I don't hear her talking anymore.
I poke her.
"Hey y/n. You good?"
I hear slight snoring.
Oh good god. Is she asleep?
How do you fall asleep so fast?!

Well I guess nows a good time.
I pick her up and place her on my back.
"I'm taking you home now."
As we walk out I feel pounding on my back.
"WHAT ARE YOUUU DOING?! I said I don't wanna leave!"

"I'll give you ice cream if you come with me."
She shuts up.
"I like ice cream."
Wow of course that worked.
I set her down and she walks all wobbly to my car. I hold her hand on the way there to steady her.
"Okay princess ready?"
She giggles.
"Guess what old man?"
I get into the drivers seat.
She giggles again and I smile. Even now her laughs are angelic and warm me up.
"I hid my apartment key......in the trash teehee."
She continues laughing and the smile leaves my face.
Lord have mercy I can't do this.
