How You Came Into Their Life

Karl had just gotten back from his most recent travel, the Wild West, and was searching through The Inbetween. He was looking around a bit more than usual, something was telling him to, but he couldn't tell what. He walked around a corner when he saw something that confused him. Another portal? And to where? Normally portals don't show up unless he wanted them to. Suddenly, a small child, no more than seven years old, was pushed through and the portal closed. Karl ran over to them and they clung onto him, no regard to safety, just comfort. Karl wrapped his arms around them and they burst out crying. 'Mama! P-Papa!' They sobbed. Karl and the child stayed in the same position for a few minutes until the unfamiliar kid slowly stopped crying. 'What happened? Are you alright?' Karl asked them softly. 'We were running, Mama, Papa and me... We were running from the bad people who had invaded our kingdom, then Papa pushed me through a white swirly thing and I ended up here...' They explained. 'So their parents were time travellers too... Or at least their father...' Karl wondered too himself, 'I've never seen anyone else here...' He shook the thoughts out of his head. The only important thing to be worrying about right now was the child who had only just slightly calmed down. 'Hey, do you want to come with me? You can live with me if you want?' Karl smiled kindly at the small person. They nodded and Karl carefully picked them up. He turned around and walked back to the portal to get home

How You Were Named

Sapnap stared at Karl as he walked into his house in Kinoko Kingdom. 'Ummmmm, Karl, why do you have a child?' Sapnap asked. 'Well, I, umm, I found them on top of a tree near.... the Community House' The brunette had to think fast. Sapnap stared at him as if studying his soul and then smiled. 'Ok then! But do they have a name?' He asked. Karl shook his head. 'I'll ask them when they wake up, but they didn't mention if they did or not' Sapnap turned to leave the other's house then stopped. 'Isn't it illegal? To kidnap a child?' 'I DIDN'T KIDNAP THEM I ASKED THEM IF THEY WANTED TO COME WITH ME!' 'Oh, ok-' With all the yelling, you woke up and stared at your new father groggily. Karl noticed and smiled. 'Hey kiddo, are you ok?' You nodded and looked over to the other man standing in the room who was just standing there. Karl then remembered what he and Sapnap were just talking about and asked, 'Hey kid, do you have a name?' You looked back at him and nodded again. 'My name is Y/n...' 'Awww that's such a cute name!' Sapnap was still staring at you two and slowly backed out of the house he had broken into 30 minutes prior.
