Pump and The Awakening

The Housefire

Back in Pump's house, Pump was in his room playing with his toys, unaware that his soon to be ex mother, Karen was planning something that would give her a reason to hate Pump and almost get him arrested. Unfortunetly, what Pump will go through would be way worse than going to jail.

Pump: [Runs downstairs] Ay mum! Can you make me something?

Karen: [Fake Happiness] Sure Pump. What would you like to eat?

Pump: Spooky Mac and Cheese, please!

Karen: Okay. [Karen smiled, which Pump thought she was happy to make him some food, when she was actually happy about the evil plan she was about to put into action. After Pump left, she pulled out a lighter and looked at it evilly] Looks like I'm now in position! First, I'll set a fire in the kitchen and then I'll place the lighter in Pump's pocket. And then I'll call the police, and whether Pump gets arrested or not, it will still be a win for me! Since Pump is distracted with his stupid little toys right now, that will give me the chance to set the whole thing up! [She quickly puts on some gloves and quickly lit up the wall, causing it to burst into flames. She hurried out of the house. Once she was out, she laughed evilly]

A few minutes later...

Pump: [Walks downstairs] Ay mum, is my spooky mac and cheese ready yet? I'm starving. [Notices Karen wasn't in the living room] Mum? Where are you? [He sees the fire rising through haft of the house] Oh no! [Screams and ran as fast as he could, horrified at what was happening. He managed to get through the door and ran towards Karen, who pretended to be worried] 

Karen: [Pretending to be worried] Oh Pump! My sweet child! Are you okay?! What happened in there?!

Pump: [Horrified] I'm okay, mum, but that wasn't spooky at all! It was scary! I thought that I was gonna die in there!

Karen: [Fake sympathy] Aw! Come here, son! [As she was hugging Pump, Karen placed the lighter in Pump's pocket. When they were done hugging, Karen texted Stan and told him that everything went perfect]

About ten minutes before the fire...

Officer: Are you sure that this plan paper you found was your son's, Ms. Karen? [The officer and Karen were talking outside while Pump was upstairs playing with his toys. Karen had made the plan chart, and since Pump had messy handwriting (He's seven. What did you expect?), Karen was easily able to copy it and make it look like Pump made it]

Karen: [Fake saddness] Yes! I saw him with it! I was confused at first, but he left it in the living room! I walked over to it, wanting to give it back to him until I saw what it was! I called you guys to make sure if the plans were real or not!

Office: Well thank you for telling us about this, Ms. Karen. You did the right thing by doing this. I really don't wanna believe a kid will do this, but the proof is right here and you as a witness and his mom. I just don't know who to believe. [As the officer checked the plans again, Karen felt her phone vibrating. She quickly checked it to see that an alarm has gone off, signaling that it was time for the final step]

Karen: Well, you should get going, officer. And if you wanna take my advice, you might wanna come back here in about ten minutes. [After she left, the officer realized what Karen said and decided to stay near the house just in case]

End of flashback...

The firefighters were seen using a fire extinguisher to put out the fire in Pump's house. They just got done as neighbors of Pump and Karen walked out to see what was going on, shocked and horrified by what just happened. Karen then realized that it was now or never.

Karen: [Pretends to have just notice the lighter in Pump's pocket] Hey Pump. What's that in your pocket?

Pump: My pocket?

Karen: [Pretends to be curious] Yeah. Take it out and let everyone see [Pump reach into his pocket and pulled out the lighter. Everyone around him and Karen were shocked and they immediately put two and two together as Karen gave him a "suspicious" look, as did everyone else]

Female Officer: [Horrified] Kid!!! Did you create this housefire?!!!

Pump: What?!!! No!!! I didn't!!!

Male Officer: [Remembering what Karen told him] Pump and Ms. Karen, come with me back to the station immediately!!!!!

Pump wanted to talk back, but he decided to do what the officer told him to do. He was hoping to cleare up this misunderstanding. As him and Karen walked into the police car with the police officer, Pump saw Karen giving him a look of "betrayal", unaware that she was laughing over what had happened in her head. As the police car, Karen had a secret smile go off inside her head, knowing that her plan was unfortunetly gonna work.
