Ch 15: Crisis on Earth X pt 3

"I'm going to get free." Laurel glared tugging at the chains that were now magnetized around her. She was soaked from head to toe. "And when I do Overgirl will help me destroy you!"

"Kara will be dead in days, the same I suspect will happen to you." Crash replied. "The Reich will fall, the resistance will crumble, everything will come crashing down. The world you love will be destroyed just as mine was. You made the wrong choice that day. Now you can suffer for it. As will every other world undeserving of their peace."

Crash walked away from the docks killing any potential witnesses that she sensed nearby. Their burned bodies falling into the water. The sun was rising, Crash heading straight into its light dark shadows behind her trailing after. Laurels screams of rage hidden by the roaring waves. Though she would escape it would be long after this Crisis was over.

-meanwhile on Earth 1-

Caitlin was the first to wake up out of the two of them. To say she almost had a heart attack was an understatement. The thought of oh my god running through her head on repeat like her brain had glued down the o, m, and g keyboard keys that ran her thoughts. Her eyes widening as she took in the mop of chestnut brown hair and perfectly manicured sparkling ombré pink and blue nails that was resting against her shoulder. Clarity peacefully sleeping next to her holding her in a loose cuddle.

Caitlin wasn't a stranger to waking up with Killer Frost's one night stands, but she had never expected one of those one night stands to be one of her closest female friends. Clarity was Pan, Caitlin knew that, and she also knew Killer Frost swung every which way too, but Caitlin Snow herself? She liked boys, plain and simple. Caitlin tried to slide away from the Glitch. Minimize the damage in some way, limit the awkwardness of a morning after, maybe make them both breakfast to smooth things over, but getting away from a sleepy Glitch was no easy task.

The glitches grip tightened pulling the other woman closer as she felt the other woman try to slide away. Clarity shifted snuggling more into the warmth beside her edging more towards the beds middle not wanting to lose the heated sensation. Clarity's face going right up against Caitlin's chest the glitches nose nuzzling near the doctor's neck as she slotted herself against the other woman getting a whiff of her perfume, the same perfume that a certain blonde Assassin also used. It was bad enough the other side of the bed behind the glitch felt like ice cubes due to there not being another person there to warm it. However instead of dwelling on that the glitch set about enjoying the calm hum of the other persons electricity flowing through their body. The bed was warm with Caitlin there and the sun was shining in through the curtains on her side. It was the most peaceful wake up Clarity had had in a very long time. Clarity just wanted to lay there snuggled under the covers and feel loved forever.

"Mm, Sara stay..." Clarity murmured voice filled with sleep, feeling around for Caitlin's left hand lacing their fingers together holding it between their chests. "It's early. You can put your rings back on later, I want Canary cuddles."

"Clarity?" Caitlin prodded the Glitch voice soft.

"Mm?" Clarity hummed pressing a light kiss at Caitlin's jaw with a dreamy smile. Caitlin wincing as she did so.

"I'm not Sara." Caitlin explained to her.

Clarity giggled lightly pulling back opening her eyes. "Of course you're-"Clarity shrieked jerking back from Caitlin glitching out of her arms, bolting to sit up. Her sheet clinging to her via static cling as she leaned back on her hands. "Caitlin."
