Ch 13: Crisis on Earth X pt 1

Clarity paused in her sewing turning to Jonas with a soft smile making her way over to him. She laughed lightly to herself. "Cmere let me see." She gently took hold of his hand kneeling in front of him however there wasn't a cut on his finger anymore. "Hm, your fine..guess it didn't break the skin."

"Guess not."  Jonas stared down at his hand perplexed, confused because it had been pierced. But he wasn't about to worry Clarity over a tiny pin prick. She was busy with all this wedding business. In fact he didn't have time to worry about it himself as a breach opened in Clarity's room, Kara and her sister walking through.

"Clarity, I changed my mind." Kara replied. "I'd love to go with you to the wedding."

Kara's proclamation is exactly what Sara heard the second she opened Clarity's door. The assassin left to stare at the kryptonian standing next to Clarity. The two skirt wearing heroines standing there smiling. The words she was going to ask stuck somewhere in her chest not even making it to her throat digging into her heart. Suddenly, Sara just wanted to crawl back into that coma she'd been healing in, or maybe die right there, hell maybe she was dying a fourth time, because something inside of her broke again. Of course, Clarity bleeding heart that she was was taking a friend to the wedding. She should have seen it coming, asked sooner, but the thought of Clarity wanting to go with anyone else had never even crossed the assassins mind, because the only person Sara had wanted to go with was Clarity.

"Oh, hey Sara. Look who's here straight from earth 38!" Claritys gestured to Kara and Alex with a grin. "Did you want something?"

"I.." Sara forced herself to smile. "I just wanted to tell you we'll be landing in Central in a few minutes."
