"Shh mom"
Alec hushed someone his fingers tangled in my hair.
"Sorry"
Laura whispered,
I rubbed my eyes opening them seeing Laura and Tatum sitting across from us, I felt heat creep up my neck as my ears got warmer.
"Good morning"
Alec said chuckling then groaning in pain.
"Good morning"
I said slowly sitting up.
"It's good to see Miles finally getting some sleep"
Laura said smiling and Alec rubbed my back.
"He should have taken care of himself"
Alec said and I looked at him groaning.
"You're back to do that for me now"
I said and he smiled.
"I have broken bones I can't take care of you"
He said teasingly and I sighed.
"Does your head still hurt?"
Laura asked him.
"Yeah"
He answered.
The nurse walked in and Laura walked up to her and they started talking about Alec's condition and he looks like he couldn't care less he is staring at me his fingers are back in my hair and I looked up at him locking eyes with him he smiled at me softly,
"I'm so happy you're here with me"
He whispered randomly and I looked at him smiling shyly.
"Talk about randomness"
I said and he playfully rolled his eyes.
"Hush I'm trying to love you"
He said and I pecked his lips.
"I'm happy I'm here with you"
I said making him smile.
"Okay boys ready to leave?"
Laura asked and Alec turned to her,
"They said I can leave?"
He asked and Laura nodded.
"Oh great"
He said slowly sitting up.
"How the hell am I supposed to go home?"
He asked looking at his broken leg.
"With this"
Laura said pulling in a wheelchair,
"Crutches aren't an option because of your broken arm"
I said and we helped him get on it
"Okay now what"
He asked.
"Can you try pushing yourself with your arm"
Laura asked and he tried pushing forward he struggled but it moved.
"You're doing great"
I said and he smiled.
"I'll pack everything in the room and then we can go"
Laura said and Alec nodded slowly pushing himself around.
"Here we go"
I said pushing his wheelchair towards the couch after we were finally home,
"This is exhausting"
He said throwing his head back,
"Must be exhausting to be pushed around"
I said sarcastically and he chuckled.
"Are Zodiac's parents in town?"
Laura asked and I shook my head.
