(44) A Hospital's Bed ☆

"Come on Miles you've got to eat something"
Laura said trying to convince me to eat for the past 15 minutes, how could I possibly eat when he is been laying there like that for 3 days?

I laid my head on his hand as I gently rubbed it I am not even going to lie I'm exhausted I haven't eaten or slept properly since what happened but I don't have the heart to.

Dad came in and looked at me worriedly,

"You can't just sit there like that you've got to eat something"
He said and I shook my head clinging to his hand.

Aiden came in and took the food from Laura and kneeled in front of me unwrapping the sandwich,

"Do you think he'd be happy with this? You not eating or sleeping or even drinking water? Do you want your handsome prince to wake up and see that his knight has become a skeleton?"
He said and I looked at him then back at Alec.

"Aiden I can't eat"
I said weakly and he cut the sandwich in half giving me a half and him taking a half.

"I'll eat with you"
He said and I looked at the sandwich in my hands slowly lifting it hesitatingly.

"Come on"
He said nudging me and I bit into the sandwich and so did he.

He grabbed a water bottle from dad and finished the sandwich and I ate mine until it was finally gone he smiled at me proudly then opened the water bottle handing it to me, I drank some of the water then put its lid back on.

"Aiden you're good at convincing people"
Laura pointed out and he smiled but not that eyey smile of his it looked more like a sad smile.

"My girlfriend was very stubborn I had to learn my ways with her"
He said,

"I didn't know you have a girlfriend!"
Laura said excitedly and He put his head down.

"Well, had, she passed away last year from leukemia"
He said sadly and I felt a tug at my chest.

"Oh honey I'm so sorry may she rest in peace"
Laura said sadly and he nodded smiling again.

"She is in a better place now"
He said then cleared his throat,

"Miles you should sleep too you haven't slept in a long time"
He said looking at me and I shook my head.

"I can't sleep I really can't I've tried"
I explained and he sighed getting his headphones out and plugging them into his phone playing something then taking them off he put them on my ears a relaxing audio of someone humming and rain in the background was playing.

He smiled at me patting my head,

"Close your eyes and let it happen"
He said and I gave him a gratitude smile resting my head on Alec's bed and putting his hand on my head as I closed my eyes and felt myself slowly drift to sleep.

Where am I? I looked to my side and saw Alec smiling walking towards me cupping my cheeks in his hand as he kissed my head.

"I'll be there soon till then take care of yourself, will you?"
I smiled hugging him.

"I love you, Alec"
I said and he hugged me tightly.

"I love you too baby"
He said then suddenly he started groaning in pain.

"What's wrong?"
I asked as he grew more in pain.

"Alec, what's wrong?"
I yelled holding him panic taking over me.

"No no Alec no please don't leave me"
I cried holding onto him.

Then suddenly what was in my arms slowly turned to ashes.

I gasped panting for air as I woke up and looked around the room I saw Alec still laying in front of me and I couldn't help but cry again.

"Alec that's it wake up"
I said crying.

"I need you"
I cried on his arm feeling miserable.

"You can't just keep sleeping like this you have to wake up again"
I said looking at him.

"I miss you so much"
I said then the door opened and Nia walked in.

"Hey"
She said and I wiped my tears.

"Hi"
I said taking a deep breath in.

"Kobe said to come to get you so we could hang up the Christmas decorations"
She said and I shook my hand.

"No thank you I'll stay here with Alec"
I said quietly and she sighed.

"Miles you haven't moved from this room for the past three days he isn't suddenly gonna wake up"
She said and I glared at her.

"Don't say that, he will wake up"
I said and she nodded.

"I know I didn't mean it in that way I'm just saying you should tag along then come back to him after you have some fun"
She said and I looked at her like she has lost her mind.

"Fun? What kind of fun am I supposed to have when I know my boyfriend is lying unconsciously on some hospital's bed with tubes attached to him? You can go have fun I'm not leaving this hospital unless I'm leaving with Alec"
I said defensively and she sighed getting up.

"Fine Miles stay then"
She said opening the door and leaving.

"You're not gonna let me down you're gonna wake up right?"
I said looking at him.

"you will."
