Amelia and Alex had just finished school and decided to go back to Amelia apartment.
Once they had entered the empty apartment, Amelia offered the boy a drink which he kindly declined. "Wow it's so quiet here." "Yeah, when both my parents are at work and it's just me, it tends to be really quiet." Amelia walks to the living room and sits on the couch and Alex follows.
"Should we watch Brooklyn Nine-Nine?" Amelia says, picking up the television remote. "Yeah, but don't put the new season on because i have to do homework. When i'm watching the new season, i want to be paying attention" he says as he pulls out his books from his bag. "Don't you have homework too?"
"I do, but it's easy, i can do it later. I'll be back brace-face" she says as she gets up from the couch and walks to her bedroom." "What're you doing?" Alex says as his eyes follow the girl to her room. "I'm just changing, calm down, i'm not going to pull out a gun and shoot you."

The girl returned to her best friend and flops onto the space beside him.
Alex furrows his eyebrows at the girls hoodie. "Is that my supreme hoodie?" Amelia looks down at the logo, "uh maybe" "Dude! i've been looking for that" "Well it's not my fault you always give me your hoodies. What'd you expect?" Alex shakes his head and continues working.

"KATHY! Come out of the bedroom!" Amelia and Alex hear Penelope yell as they enter the apartment.
"Who's Kathy?" Alex asks. Penelope laughs, "No, nothing papito," she says as she walks to the pair and kisses their cheeks.
"Dr. Berkowitz's birthday party. I got it all planned out. Apparently, last year, he ended up at Medieval Times by himself." They all pout. "He went to pet a horse and got bit."
After a moment of silence, Amelia breaks it by bursting out a laugh which gets followed by the others.
"So i got Scott and Lori to get balloons and a cake. So, i got everything covered." Penelope says in joy.
Amelia sits down at the dining table when Alex reaches into his bag and pulls out two boxes.
"Baseball fundraiser time again" Alex says as he places the boxes onto the kitchen table. "Abuelita, these are for you to sell at church. And Mom, I guess work, or wherever you go? Deadline is friday. Most sales gets a PlayStation. So let's really get after it people." He claps and be gains to walk away but stops once he hears Amelias voice.
"Wow, great idea Alex. But um why don't you go sell them yourself?" She smiles. "Yeah! Go out into the neighbourhood. Sell them out there, bring Ame. " Penelope agrees.
"Aren't you worried about Predators? We're both very cute Alex says pointing to his best friend who is facing the table below her to cover the blush that appeared on her face. "I'm not worried. Your Abuelita will be three feet behind you at all times. Come one, work up a good sales pitch. It'll be so much more gratifying if you aren't that PlayStation yourself"
Alex groans and takes the boxes off the table, "This is the worst. At least Ame will be there to keep me company."
"There's my little go getter" Penelope yells from the kitchen as he walks to his room.
Amelia continued to stay in the main area of the apartment. "Need any help señoras?" she kindly offers "Thank you niña, but all is done." Lydia thanks.
A minute later, Carmen and Elena enter the living room. "Hey, Mom, can Carmen stay overnight?" "We're having so much fun." Carmen says in a blank tone. "I can tell..." Amelia says as she joins the two women in the kitchen.
"Why doesn't she sleep out here on el sofá? It will be more comfortable than the floor" Lydia pitched in. "Oh, she just sleeps in bed with me" Elena says as she turns to her friend and walks away leaving the three latinas in silence until Lydia spoke.
"I'm not saying anything." "Good, 'cause everyone should feel at home here." Amelia stood there confused until the bathroom door opened with Schneider in a towel around his waist and on his head.
"Hey, guys. I fixed the water pressure and tested it. Hey, let's push dinner a smidge, okay? Ooh, rice again? Can we not? I'm doin' a little Paleo thing right now. And, I borrowed your nail clippers. See you in 20" He says as he rushes out of the door.
"huh. I think people feel at home." Amelia says as she turns to the two.
